I'm not sure it's the genius bit so much as it is the dorky/dysfunctional in normal society bit. I don't think he's my favorite character though, I'm still undecided. And omg, I really can't think of him that way. He's cute and all, but in an adorkable way, not an "omg must sex you" way.
