No, I'm considering what new song I can use for my next vid. >:D I'm so in love with Lenka, I wanna do every single song she's sung, but I don't think they're all that applicable... *ponders*

Ooooo! Calleigh/Eric is my sudden obsession. I've been watching CSI: Miami constantly for the last week and I can't get enough of it. I'm kind of bummed, because IMDb says that it's not back on TV until March 2nd. But I want to see what happens. Because two weeks ago in "Smoke gets in your CSIs" Calleigh suffered from Smoke inhalation and she was hospitalised, couldn't breathe on her own and Eric said to her - "You're going to wake up. You have to. I can't imagine going to work without you...I can't imagine living my life without you."

AND SHE HEARD HIM!!!! *dies* She heard every word that he said and she said that it felt like a dream, but he clarified for her that IT WAS REAL!!! *LOVES* Then she asked him to stay with her and he said "As long as you want me to." I'm suffering from death by CSI, lol. I wasn't never really into it either, but the fact that I thought they were perfect for each other 7 years ago and it's paying off now, begged to be addressed, lol. I can't not love a ship that finally does what I ask, 7 years later.

Emily Procter is AWESOME! I love her accent. And she's so cool! She made me laugh because she said that she keeps a pair of roller-skates in the back of her car and running shoes and other sports stuff and Jonathan Togo (Wolfe on the show) looked in her backseat and laughed and said "It looks like a sports store back here." LOL. OOOO! And she was on the Celebrity Poker Showdown and she was being interviewed and said "I'm sorry, I have to go now. I have to get some cards to hide in my purse." LOL. She's so funny!!

Sorry, because i have so few people to talk to about CSI: Miami/Emily/Calleigh&Eric...when I do talk about it, i kind of explode. lol.

Ha, no worries, I keep telling people it's fine to babble away with me and be random because heck, I inflict it on everyone else and I refuse to feel guilty. I can't talk about my fandoms in RL, so LJ is my therapy, lol.

*dies* I could listen to her on repeat, there's something about her voice that is so addictive. She's up there with Scully in that I don't care what they're saying, even if I don't understand a single word of their technobabble, I'd still listen to forty-odd minutes of it, lol.

And she's so wacky fun! I remember mother being like 'wtf' when I had her dance scene in TWW on loop, and going, 'Who is this crazy person and why is she dancing on my tv screen?' Heh. *LOVES*

I haven't seen any interviews or anything of Emily, but she sounds hilarious. Doesn't it make life a thousand times better when the actress of a character you love is also awesome? [Thankfully, I've never had the opposite experience, I don't know how it'd affect me if the actor was a real jerk]

Emily, Gillian? Yep. definately. They've both got awesome voices!! And I love when there is well-written fanfic so that when I read, I can hear her, lol. Badly written stuff, I don't even want to associate.

Dance scene in TWW? I think i've seen that, but it was only once, ages ago! I want to see it again!!! Someone has footage of her dancing in the Trace lab on CSI...but it's grainy and low quality. I'd love to find it bigger and better and omg, check this out - YOU.MUST.WATCH!!!

Hehehe! Yep, it's definately titled "Smoke gets in your CSIs" and just yesterday, i watched a previous episode entitled - "You my now kill the bride." hehehehe. There was an adorable scene in it where Calleigh put on a veil - it was hilarious of the wardrobe department to have her wear white for the whole episode (think it's a hint?) - and when she was wearing the veil, recreating the moment with Delko to see why the bride took the bullet, she had this awesome look on her face and said "You tell anyone I did this, i'll kill you." but he had a totally shit-eating grin on his face, like he wished it were real, lol.

Oh yeah, WMM. You've just gotta learn how to tweak it. I calculate, by the length of the clip, how fast a transition is going to go and cut it accordingly. Because each transition has a different effect, depending on the clip length. Longer, it's slower, shorter, it's wicked fast. That's how I got the flashing effect. Short clips with 'fade in from white' but I also take advantage of the effects certain clips already have. That whole entry scene in my Calleigh vid, her strutting her stuff, it was cut in a funky way to begin with (seriously, it was wicked cool and her outfit is to die for! i wanna dress like that.) I just tweaked it to make it even more funky.

I have to say, I know re-enactments are just gimmicks, but they make me squee so hard. I think there was this scene in NCIS when Kate bashed up Tony? It's been a while, but I seem to remember the guys in an opposite apartment trying to ascertain what a witness could've seen, and Tony was being a smartass when they were role-playing and she knocked him down? >:D

That wedding re-enactment is a new one to me, and totally adorable. I can just imagine her looking all angelic while issuing threats, lol.

Seriously, that's great news! You actually got me beat because when *I* watched the first two eps, I was like O.o all, 'these people are mean and not overly sympathetic and oops, did I make a mistake paying for this?' I now know I did not. But at the time, I kicked myself, because I spent about $50 paying for all three seasons when I'd NEVER seen the show before. Ever. I was just so desperate for a new show, I ordered it without any actual experience with it, lol. All I had to go on was sapphs posting the prospective season four (http://www.reeves-stevens.com/TLWSUMMARY1.pdf) which looked interesting [yet produced expectations that ended up bearing little resemblance to the show, which is okay because it rocked in different and better ways]. I love that she didn't even TRY to convert me, I didn't have any chats with her about it, just up and decided to purchase the damn show, lol. I'm way too easy. :P

But you know what's also funny? I took a look at sapphs very first TLW post and she says it's almost too cheesy to watch and it's all cringe-worthy, etc. etc. So though it took more convincing to get you through the door, you were the fastest to fall for it! Irony!

And here's the thing with regard to TLW, when I'm looking at the first couple eps of a show, whether I like it or not immediately, I never give up based on those eps, because the show is just catching its stride and that just wouldn't be fair. The first ep of SG1 I saw was CotG because skiffy was doing their reruns thing. And while it's not a bad episode, I'm not sure I'd want to form an opinion of the show based on it, because the characters aren't fully formed yet, like when you're a kid and you wear your parent's clothes even though they're baggy and falling off you you still have to grow into them. Thing is, with TLW, I kept getting this little peeks into where things with different characters might go, and there's ideas forming. Which probably means that I'm about to get my brain sucked into a new universe, but that's neither here nor there.

The other thing is that being a 90s child, I may have a small... tiny bit... of love for cheesiness. Just a bit, honest.

It's more that I haven't precisely... gotten better yet? Urgh. This thing won't quit, which is pissing me off. XD

But yes, I'll probably wheedle with my parents to let me stay in bed tomorrow and mainline TLW or something. *crosses fingers*
They want me to do something productive like pack tomorrow because we're supposed to go to El Centro this weekend since we didn't go last week.

Mmm, ITA. ♥ But then again, TLW is an acquired taste. My belief is that the uninitiated the ones whose lives lack meaning and purpose need to be carefully ushered into this show by a dedicated fan who can brainwash them into accepting it, flaws and all. I have two new fans to my credit, and that was by alternately PUSH PUSH PUSHING them to watch the show and also explaining how cheesy and OTT it is, but that the ship makes it all worthwhile. :D
