I've got to delete my old H/Hr fics. *sighs* I had a whole bunch of fics with them and also with Buffy x-overs that I gotta delete now 'coz I can't multi-ship anymore.
The epic novel!fic- it doesn't have summer in its title, perchance? I was reading this encyclopedia-length fic in which Harry and Hermione spend the summer together and end up going to Buckingham Palace, lol, before I got sidetracked and jumped ships.
I have these moments every now and then when he just bugs me with his emo whinyness.
*nodnod* That's precisely what turned me off him. It's always about his angst and him pouting that nobody trusts him when DUH, he hasn't given them any reason to trust him to behave like an adult. I mean, FFS, Dumbledore puts him in a body-bind under a cloak during the battle because he doesn't think Harry can fend for himself! He treats him like a child because the boy can't step up to the plate! And the first thing he does when he's freed is try to take Snape on, ensuring certain death and the fall of the wizarding world to Voldemort, had Snape in actual fact been a Death Eater. Dumbass.
I've always been pretty open about shipping. As long as it's not Sheyla. I admit it, that's the one ship I absolutely cannot stand at all. Other than that, other ships don't bug me. I have my ships, everybody else has theirs, we all having fun and it's cool.
Firstly, yay for the shipping!tolerance, life would be so much easier in fandom if people could just get along and accept each other. *eyeroll* Sheyla, though, I'm irrationally prejudiced against it, I can't bring myself to be fair after the war that raged between their camp and ours.
I mean still, you have a bit of that student/teacher thing going on, but not like some ships...
*snorts* Point taken! *hands up in surrender* Also, he's fully an adult. Dude, he's 33! Totally doesn't look it! There's none of this sophistry about being 'of age' and using the more of the time- they married young back in the period of Camelot, like, 15 or 16- or the Time Turner to age Hermione another year to make it more palatable, lol.
Omg, a comm?! *runs off to find it* I can't wait for the new season, in a few weeks, I think- hopefully it'll spark up a whole round of new fic.
Well, I don't think the Ladon/Henry thing was THAT obvious. They play totally different characters- scheming military dude, laid-back easy-going computer genius. *shrugs* Whatever happened to Ladon, anyhow? The Genii decided to become enemies again, as per the post-s3 writing crapitude, so either he flipped or was replaced. Hmph.
Are the webisodes worth tracking down? Were they that different from the final eps on the dvds? *iz curious*
