I loved Alan Rickman's Colonel. Well, I just adore Alan Rickman, be he evil, charming or a disgruntled actor with fins on his head. He's fabulous. But I never really liked Marianne, even though I really like Kate Winslet. I thought she was insipid and self-absorbed. But my god Emma Thompson in that movie. *fights to breathe* I can watch that movie a million times over, just for her, and be satisfied.

And just as something completely irrelevant - yet never disappointing - some LotS squee. I plan to do this for every episode from this point on, as best I can. *giggles*
