I think he's incredibly talented and I'll watch anything he makes

Dollhouse?

Just look at the Connor/Cordelia thing alone *shudder* And season 6 & 7 of BtVS were terrible.

I gagged when I realized that was gonna happen.

And season 6 & 7 of BtVS were terrible. I'll always be the slightest bit bitter about the fact that we never had a B/A resolution, but I've made my peace with it after all these years. *sigh*

*hugs you*

My problem is that the show was not a very fun place to be at the end. I think I ranted a while back about how I ended up liking SPIKE more than the main characters. Between Willow mind!raping Tara and Xander being an a-hole...I wanted to rip his head off his shoulders when he went and called Buffy and Anya slutty freaks or something to that effect for sleeping with Spike. WTF. *head!splodes* Yes, your best friend is severely messed up and you decide to attack and alienate her because that is clearly the best way to handle the situation. Anya, that was harsh, but I could understand- BUFFY? No. No excuses.

They weren't only separated physically, Angel had to be on his guard emotionally ALL THE TIME. There was never any chance for them to relax and just BE together.

Ohhh. Okay, I misunderstood, then, I thought it was only about the sex- I didn't realize there was an emotional trigger notwithstanding physical contact.

Poor Angel, I never realized what a bum deal he got.

I guess Kahlan's trained to keep tight control over her power, so she's fine just being with Richard, she can be transcendentally happy and it won't affect anything, it's only that physical passion with a loved one could threaten that [like I said, if they had BAD SEX, Richard could still father her child, lol, just Kahlan ain't gonna get much out of it...]

So even though there's a ton of similarities between the two, I just don't agree when people say R/K are better because they're staying together when B/A couldn't "handle" it.

*rereads own comment* Okay, I didn't clearly express this, so I hope you didn't think I was one of those people that promotes R/K as pwning B/A- but my problem was with the writing decisionthat was made by the PTB. They decided that Buffy and Angel couldn't have a relationship and wrangled things so that they would be torn apart and break everyone's hearts.

Whereas with LotS, the whole show is founded on the premise that Richard and Kahlan will be at each other's sides throughout everything as the world falls down.

So to my way of thinking, it's not one ship being stronger or better than the other, just that the potential was limited with the former because the writers needed it to go in one direction while the latter was allowed to expand and grow as they explored the possibilities.

And what's even more ironic is that she had just made a post extolling the virtues of the LotS fandom for being wank-free...

*eyeroll* Oy vey.

So the wankage begins. *races to stop up the dam before it breaks*

I just don't know why it's something to get upset over! I like it when people agree with me, but when they don't, I find it interesting to try and work out where they're coming from. Nothing to throw a tantrum over!
