Well, I hate rom-coms for just that reason, they are all the same. They meet, fall in love, enter big secret/climactic moment, breakup, grand gesture, in love again. Give me a break. When Harry Met Sally started it and its about the only rom-com I like. Everyone else just followed suit with worst actors and paper-thin scripts. Seriously.....my hatred for rom-coms burns like the heat of a thousand suns. But I just loved Julia Stiles so much in that film, and Larry Miller as their father, I got over it.
