1. Leave me a comment saying, 'interview me'.
2. I will respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
3. Update your LJ with the answers to the questions. (You must do this, even if it's filtered for my eyes only!)
4. Include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

[livejournal.com profile] odakota_rose 's questions:
1. Okay, desert island and you can bring three things, what are they?
2. Favorite song ever?
3. If you could write an episode of any one tv show, what would you write and how would it go?
4. Sunny or cloudy days- which do you like better?
5. What's your favorite cliche?

1. Okay, desert island and you can bring three things, what are they?

Well, just because I’m on a desert island, doesn’t mean I have to be without the luxuries of modern life. I’m thinking Abigail Breslin in ‘Nim’s Island’.

So, I want electricity- I don’t know how it worked in the movie, I guess a generator of some sort?- and a laptop. Like, the two essentials. I’d never be bored, I could d/l whatever I wanted to watch. :D

And for my third item…hmm. A lifetime’s supply of chocolate. To go with all the movies I’m watching on my laptop. ^_^

2. Favorite song ever?

This changes all the time. What a haaard question.

I think Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls. The phrase ‘made to be broken’ is so beautiful and so meaningful, it has total relevance to my life. And come on, who doesn’t feel like no one understands and yearning for this one special person who can make everything better?

3. If you could write an episode of any one tv show, what would you write and how would it go?

OMFG, I’d write a script for The Lost World [which you so need to watch, [livejournal.com profile] odakota_rose , just for the SHIP WHICH PWNS ALL] to resolve all the tantalizing season 4 plots that were sadly doomed never to be filmed. One which focuses on Marguerite’s powers, because hello, she’s supposed to be the avatar of this almighty prophetess with the seeds of great destruction or great good and we’ve never seen her use these powers. *pouts*

Shadow of a Dream by Lisa Paris explores one possible aspect of her powers. Actually, I wouldn’t mind seeing pretty much all her fics turned into episodes. Damn, but this fandom has some fine writers.

Anyway, whatever concept I went with, it would definitely be Marguerite-centric. :D

4. Sunny or cloudy days- which do you like better?

Cloudy days, as long as it’s not raining. I’m not a fan of being soaking wet. Sunny days are pretty and all, but I don’t like getting hot and sweating. I'm hard to please! :D

5. What's your favorite cliche?

Curiosity killed the cat. And satisfaction brought it back.

Not many people know the second half of the saying, so it’s always fun seeing them splutter and try to figure out how to respond when I’ve trumped them. ;D It’s up there with ‘great minds think alike and fools never differ’ for entertainment value. Heh.

Name a fandom you know I know and I'll tell you:

1. The first character I first fell in love with
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't
4. The character I love that everyone else hates
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer
6. The character I would shag anytime
7. The character I'd want to be like
8. The character I'd slap
9. A pairing that I love
10. A pairing that I despise

Your result for The Golden Compass Daemon Test...

Independent Soul.

You are calm and logical, but not unemotional. You are an introvert, at heart, preferring to read alone than be subjected to the crush and noise of a big party or bar. You have a few friends and family, whose presence you welcome - to a point. Even they can wear on your nerves eventually, and you need to retreat back into your personal space for a while so you can recharge. Your energy comes in bursts, after which you need a long nap or a couple of evenings at home to recuperate.

You are comfortable with yourself, and reasonably confident. You want the friendship and goodwill of others, but you are not willing to sacrifice your principles in order to get it. If your close friends need something that you can provide, however, you will be the first to offer it.

You are a good and sympathetic listener, and are aware of your friend's emotional states. With your very close friends, you will open up, but rarely - you don't like to burden people with your problems. At the same time, though, you are honest and are not willing to alter the truth for the sake of convenience. Among strangers you are reserved, and may resort to making jokes to disguise your true feelings.

While you are not afraid of conflict, you do not seek it, either. When you are hurt or insulted, you feel that you have a choice to make. You can choose to take the up on it and defend yourself, or you can let it pass. Your decision may depend on how well you know the person, how personally you take the insult, or simply what mood you are in that day. Your friends may not always know how you are going to react, for that reason. Whatever you reaction, though, you will be logical, rational and unnervingly accurate: a measured strike.

Your daemon's form would represent your calm, introverted nature, your cool logic, and your impatience with crowds of people. He or she would probably whisper ironic comments in your ear, give logical advice and try to hide his or her soft side from everyone, even you.

Suggested forms:
Peregrine Falcon, Snowy Owl, Snow Leopard, Siberian Tiger, Osprey.

Ohhh, coming up with questions is harder than answering!

1. What would be the most important things you'd save if your house was on fire? [apart from yourself!]
2. What was the last thing that made you cry? :[
3. If you could write an episode for Criminal Minds, what would happen? :D
4. What's better, a white lie or the brutal truth? O.o
5. If you had to hear one song on repeat in your head for the rest of your life, what would you choose? :O
