I kinda hate the mud people...idek why. I know they're essential for the wedding and everything but I just don't like Bird Man

Bwahaha, oh, really? 'coz they're annoying primitives or something? I kinda liked those parts, with Richard teaching them how to keep their houses dry- and then protecting the village, even after his request was denied...then taking on the Elders and being prepared to cut off their heads but for the Sword resisting. I really admire TG's ability to come up with believable methods of solving problems [that whole 'don't think of the problem, think of the solution, because if your mind is filled with thoughts of how you're going to lose, it'll never come up with how to win'- sooo paraphrased, 'coz I suck at memorizing quotes]. I'd never have believed them bending over backwards just 'coz their huts are rainproof, so the way it worked out was neat.

Didn't you love Cara spying on them from around the corner when they were getting hot n heavy with the dirty talk?

"Maybe I just wanted to kiss Kahlan good night without you two passing judgment on my skill."

"I have already seen you kiss the Mother Confessor," Cara said. "You appear quite talented at it. It always leaves her breathless and wanting more."

That doesn't mean I'm talented, it just means she loves me."

"I've been kissed," Cara said, "and I've seen you kiss. I believe I can say with some authority that you are talented at the task. We watched you from around the corner tonight."

Richard tried to look indignant as he felt his face going red. "I gave you orders to stay down here."

"It is our responsibility to watch over you. To do that, we can't let you out of our sight. We can't follow such orders."

*snickersnort* What a difficult duty Cara has, watching hot people make out! Too bad Nadine had to bust them up just as they were getting wild enough to throw propriety out the window. *snarls* I really, really hate her so much, I can't summon up pity for her, though Drefan killed her horribly. [He did, right? That's what I got by implication, anyway] I mean, why the hell didn't Kahlan stand up for herself and be like, 'I am the Mother Confessor, you WILL treat me with respect in my own domain or I will have you thrown out on your ass'. God. Though I did like the 'out of the mouths of whores', lol. Still, she didn't ever get up in Nadine's face and lay down the law, it's so frustrating!

GRATCH IS ADORABLE. I wibble everytime he's all "Gratch lugg Rigg arggg" or w/e.

IKR?! And the end was so awesome when he brought all the other gars to the fight! And again, I applaud TG's ability to make plots believable- the whole thing where a gar that associates with wizards gains prestige and becomes de facto leader in the gar hierarchy, thereby allowing him to take command and bring them to the fight...so cool! *bounces*

*FLAILS AND WAILS* I could talk about this forever with you.

ME, TOO! *wriggles with excitement* I love having a reading buddy, it makes it so much more fun! ;D
