'... into a darkness where the stars do drown...'

I know I've dropped out of sight for the past three weeks, and believe me, it's hurt me terribly. I miss you guys so much just over the weekends when I can't get online, so you can imagine the withdrawal pain of a few weeks away from 'home'.

The inter-trimester break flew by so quick [I hate the new 'trimester' system, it feels like I'm talking about a pregnancy, 'Oh, I'm in my second trimester right now', it's like, wtf?!] and was punctuated by recurring attacks of the dreaded cold. It's as though the universe loves to slap down on my happy, like, it's too much for me to just enjoy my holidays, I've gotta struggle through exams and then come down with the cold that just won't quit. I'm still battling the lingering effects, ugh. I got to enjoy a few days at Ma's house, got sick, moved house, got sick again [or the cold worsened, I'm not sure if it was the same one or not] and then stayed with Katherine and Jacob...

And now uni has resumed, and you'll be seeing a lot more of me. Don't be surprised if you get replies to comments from last month, 'k? I'd hate for you to think I didn't appreciate your input. ;P [Shush, luxuria_oceanus, it's perfectly okay not to be one of those accomplished 'reply within three days' people- three days, three weeks, to-may-to, to-mah-to...]

Apropos of nothing...I love that Jane has a picture of Lisbon on his phone under his list of contacts. And the expression on her face is just priceless.

Can't you see him waving his phone around, 'Come on, Lisbon, smile for the camera' and she just gives him this long-suffering stare and that's the picture he uses, lol. Someone needs to fic this, it's such a cute scene in my head, lol. [Also, for the last time, this proves it's TERESA, without the 'h', kthxbai]

Really. Please? I'd live in my fandoms if I could, so I'm curious what your thoughts are!

Vidspam:
Frakking AWESOME vid. *hypnotic eyes* Watch iiiit. @.@

It splices the scenes between Buffy and Twilight so well- apart from differences in the lighting, which can't really be helped, you'd honestly think they were filmed like together this! The scripting is tight and entertaining and the plot, omg, the plot rocks hardcore! If Bella had half of Buffy's spirit, the series would've been so much better. 'Being stalked isn't really a big turn on for girls.'  *high fives* Now there is relatively stable and well-adjusted!

I spent the weekend debating the worst points of the Twilight series with Jacob- who actually read all the books, even though he kept going, 'I hate Bella. Dump her, dump her! She's so annoying, she needs to die!' and yet he kept trucking through, lmao. Such perserverence. Btw, this was the friend that regifted me his copy of Twilight because he hated it so much and needed to justify spending that money by handing it over to me as a birthday present. *eyeroll* Thoughtful, no?

'If I were a character in any fandom, who would you ship me with?'

Are you an original character or an established one and how do you feel about femmeslash? ;p

[identity profile] borg-princess.livejournal.com 2009-07-13 11:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Hmm, that question is ambiguous, isn't it? I think it means an original character- like, what kind of character do you think I would be within the context of the show...and lol, femmeslash? O.O You intrigue me- where has your mind gone?

[identity profile] kat-rowe.livejournal.com 2009-07-13 11:16 pm (UTC)(link)
"You intrigue me- where has your mind gone?"

Nowhere specific yet. I've just noticed from some of your pic!spams that you have a decided appreciation of the female form. If that's the case, I just see no limit to artificially cut down your prospective ships by 50%.

Okay, original character who fits within the context of the show. Check. *chews her thumbpad thoughtfully* I must consider the possibilities here...

[identity profile] borg-princess.livejournal.com 2009-07-13 11:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Lol, that's true, isn't it? I always seem to end up picspamming the chicks, I- don't think I have one male-centric picspam... [reminds me of my grandmother, looking around my old bedroom, 'But where are all the male posters? You don't have as many pictures of the men.' *facepalm*]

Oh, wait, no, I picspammed Roxton's haircut a while back! But that's ONE out of a gajillion female-centric posts...

Dude, I love that you're considering this so carefully, lol. I adore the memes that make you really ponder.

[identity profile] kat-rowe.livejournal.com 2009-07-13 11:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Okay, let me give this a try. Granted, I don't know you nearly as much as a lot of my f-listers but, on the basis of what I do know/infer about you from your LJ:

Female: Abby from "NCIS" because, like you, she's smart, funny, friendly, enthusiastic, and delightfully quirky.

(This one was way harder)
Male: Patrick Jane from "The Mentalist". Again, smart and humorous. Also dedicated, tenacious, and not afraid to challenge you when he thinks you may be wrong.

Pnder!memes are the best :) I may have to steal this one for my own LJ :)

[identity profile] borg-princess.livejournal.com 2009-07-14 12:58 am (UTC)(link)
Cool! For someone who doesn't know me that well yet, you have great picks! I love Jane, you already know about that, lol, and Abby, I adore! Also, thanks for the compliments, that's very sweet. *squishes*

[identity profile] kat-rowe.livejournal.com 2009-07-14 01:04 am (UTC)(link)
I knew you loved Jane, but his tenacity and passion are great draws for me even though I've only managed to catch a few eps so far, and Abby is a complete doll :)

I just call 'em like I see 'em *hug*

(off to answer your other reply in the other post now -- gee, that's specific, lol; the DW/fandom one)

*screeches* EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEH!

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEH!

YOU'RE BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!

*RUNS, TACKLES, CLINGS, SQUISHES, GLOMPS, NUZZLES, SQUISHES, CLINGS SOME MORE, NUZZLES TO THE POINT OF NEAR DEATH!*

I thought you were on vacation, or were without net, or SOMETHING! I was half-right, I think?

I hope the cold goes away fully! And I agree, I saw that Twilight vid, and I was laughing SO hard XD

*squishes* Missed you ;.; Weally, I did ;.; Nyaaaa.

[identity profile] borg-princess.livejournal.com 2009-07-14 12:36 am (UTC)(link)
*HUGGLEPOUNCE* I am so happy to have returned home- especially with such an enthusiastic welcoming committee! ^_^

I had to promise mother I was never going to use the internet on my phone ever again, but I decided to check LJ for the last last *fingers crossed* probably last ever time [til I get desperate, lol] and this was such a lovely comment to end things on! I was so giddy and all a-flutter with glee! *smushes*

*nodnod* We still don't have internet hooked up at our new house, and even when we do, mother won't let me use her school laptop to access it- something about LJ and fanfiction being inappropriate uses of school property or something. LIKE ANYONE CARES. I mean, if the techs even bother to check her history, as long as there's no kiddie porn, they're hardly going to rake her over the coals!

The cold's dying down, just a few sputtering coughs here and there. *glares* I can't wait to be free of it fully, ack. And omg, I'm going to have to 'kickyoutube' that vid, it's too funny, I need to have a copy so I can watch it whenever I want. Such a professional job, that person's so clever!

D'aww! *luffs you*

[identity profile] luxuria-oceanus.livejournal.com 2009-07-14 08:33 am (UTC)(link)
*huggles!*

Oh, hon, don't get in trouble with your mom in our account! You want more future LJ logs, don't you? :-P

o.O Yikes, your mom must really look down on LJ and, well, see it damaging to her reputation, 'cause sheesh, LJ is not really the pinnacle of webporn, seriously.

^.^ *luvs* You be safe now, and feel much better soon :-P

[identity profile] luxuria-oceanus.livejournal.com 2009-07-13 04:43 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, and who would I ship you with?

Well, from what I know of you thus far (my quirky little fangirl, you) and the fandoms that are currently stored in my tired brain...

Could I ship you with John (SGA)? I swear, he's the first guy that came to mind. I know, something about his flirty, fun, yet can get things done kind of nature... :-P Maybe?

[identity profile] borg-princess.livejournal.com 2009-07-13 11:51 pm (UTC)(link)
*SQUEE* That's brilliant, bb! I couldn't have asked for a better pick! I mean, considering what's been my phone's wallpaper for the past two years...

Image

I still get all tingly and giddy when I remember meeting him. *sighs blissfully*

[identity profile] luxuria-oceanus.livejournal.com 2009-07-13 11:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Awwww, that's so cute!!! XD

[identity profile] borg-princess.livejournal.com 2009-07-14 12:21 am (UTC)(link)

[identity profile] luxuria-oceanus.livejournal.com 2009-07-13 11:59 pm (UTC)(link)
And hold on a tick, I just noticed your shirt O.O IS THAT WHAT I THINK IT IS!? (SPARKY!?)

[identity profile] borg-princess.livejournal.com 2009-07-14 12:28 am (UTC)(link)
Wow, well spotted! [Jeez, woman, how intently were you studying me?! :P]

I like to get designs printed of my favorite ships/characters. I've got quite a few SGA ones and two Criminal Minds ones. It's just hard finding the right wallpapers- especially one that are *ahem* appropriate for public display, y'know?

This one's just so gorgeous. I had a few people at the con comment on it, but sadly, I had to admit it wasn't my own design. I wish I could produce art like this!

Image

[identity profile] luxuria-oceanus.livejournal.com 2009-07-14 08:30 am (UTC)(link)
Whaaaat? I'm entitled to check out boobsshirts of possible interest LOL And good thing I did 'cause that is one AWESOME design.

I wish I could put wallpapers on shirts. I usually go artistic on doing my schedules (I do it on a MW doc for my boss and use icons and sort of make wallpapers smaller so I can put icons around the wallpaper) and then when the term is over, I cut out the image part and tape it on my wall. So far I have two.

Hey, we might not be able to make the art, but we can definitely admire and show it off when we can!
Edited 2009-07-14 08:33 (UTC)

[identity profile] borg-princess.livejournal.com 2009-07-15 12:46 am (UTC)(link)
*snickers* Glad the view was worth checking out. :P
I am so in love with that design, it was the first one I ever got printed.

I wish I could put wallpapers on shirts.

Can't you? I go to this photo printing place, where they put photos on things like cups, keyrings, clocks and so forth, as well as t-shirts. It's quite fun wearing my fandom on my sleeve- or chest- so to speak. ^_^

I never even knew that kind of thing was possible til we went to get a photo encased in a glass sculpture for my grandparents' anniversary- pretty but pricey, and then I picked up the catalog and saw the possibilities...

Lol, that reminds me of those people I hated in high school- they'd do an assignment and prettify it with bright colors and pictures, then get extra points and I'd be sputtering in outrage in the corner. No fair, just 'coz I can't do art to save my life. Hmph.

I cut out the image part and tape it on my wall. So far I have two.

*whimpers* I'm not allowed to put up any posters in my new room. The expanse of virgin white is tormenting me. My last room, you couldn't see the walls for the posters. *sighs*

Hey, we might not be able to make the art, but we can definitely admire and show it off when we can!

Too true! We are just as important in the grand scheme of things- there probably wouldn't be many artists if there was no appreciative audience. We're a vital component of the artistic process. *nodnod*

Yay, you're back! *huggles* Missed your lovely updates!

*squishes* Aww! Nice to know I was missed!

[identity profile] mcgarrygirl78.livejournal.com 2009-07-13 11:04 am (UTC)(link)
*tacklesglomps*

I missed you sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much, there are not even enough O's. And I must have missed the post that you were on break from uni because I totally thought you fell from the face of the earth and even nudged you cuz I was kinda worried and totally missed you.

But I am so glad you're back and all is well....minus the icky cold. That sucks. You're right about something always ruining your good time.

That character in any fandom question is kinda hard, I dont know if I have an answer. We only have one fandom in common and as much as you looooovvvvve Hotch, I dont know if he is the guy for you. Plus, he and Prentiss are just so damn cute.

[identity profile] borg-princess.livejournal.com 2009-07-14 11:04 pm (UTC)(link)
*hugglesquish* :D I swear, the ONE good thing about being forced to go AWOL for so long is knowing people care. It's a real ego-stroker, y'know? Not that I recommend you try it, 'tis so hard. *shudders* Thanks for caring, sweetie. *glomps*

ou're right about something always ruining your good time.

I think I'm perhaps becoming a little more mature. Time was, if everything wasn't perfect, I'd sulk about it for ages- and this being life, nothing ever is perfect. I stayed over at Katherine and Jacob's place last week, and they forced me to go on a hike to see some waterfalls *eyeroll* We took some pictures and I was so excited about getting them developed [I'm a camera whore, you might've noticed] but the stupid machine at Kmart somehow managed to erase them. *sadface* That's the sort of thing that would send me into fits of despair in the past but now I've semi-mastered the art of 'getting over it'. That, or I'm getting better at repression, lol.

Lol, I do sooooo love Hotch. *kidnaps him* Hotch needs as much love as he can get. *nodnod* Even if Prentiss is the only woman for him, I'm still gonna be in my little corner, sending waves of adoration his way. ^_^

[identity profile] torrealis.livejournal.com 2009-07-13 11:22 am (UTC)(link)
OMGGGGGG, YOU'RE BACK!!!! *happy dance*.. I have something REALLY important to say to you: ARE YOU READY?! OK, I AM GONNA MEET TORRI IN NOVEMBER, AAAAAAAAAAAAH *iz hyper again* ME IS GONNA MEET TORRI *faints*.. that's all, lol =D

[identity profile] borg-princess.livejournal.com 2009-07-13 11:54 pm (UTC)(link)
ZOOOOOOMG! NO WAY! THAT IS SO AWESOME! WHEEEEEE!
*dies of envy*

You have to take lots and lots of pictures and share the TORRI SQUEE with the rest of us unfortunate mortals! AND TELL HER TO COME TO AUSTRALIA. Lol. *huggles* You're so lucky!

[identity profile] spence-reid.livejournal.com 2009-07-13 03:02 pm (UTC)(link)
HI HI HI! You're back! I love that Buffy vid. She totally would stake him. I kinda hate the fact that they make her fall in love with him first, though. It would have been way cooler if he had just been bopping around with Bella, using really stinted dialogue to say how much they needed each other, and Buffy had just run up behind and staked him and moved on.

[identity profile] borg-princess.livejournal.com 2009-07-13 11:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Iz back! Iz so happy to be back! :D

O.o I didn't think Buffy fell in love with him. In that vid I spammed, yes? She was all 'don't be creepy, stop following me' and then when he breaks into her bedroom, she tosses him out and chases him at preternatural speeds and STAKES THE SUCKER, AHAHAAA! ^_^

Buffy needed to stage an intervention with Bella as well. 'This is not cool, this is emotional abuse, all right? Pull it together! Be smarter, damn it!'

[identity profile] spence-reid.livejournal.com 2009-07-14 01:39 am (UTC)(link)
She seems kinda mopey when she stakes him, is all. I don't know that Buffy is the best person to be staging an intervention in the ways of romance (angry, violent sex with a vampire she loves and hates simultaneously, anyone?) but yeah, you're right. It's creepy. Twilight crosses the line between passionate, devoted love and emotional dependency and horrible self esteem and abuse....at least Buffy could kick peoples' asses. Glad you're back, though. Don't stay so much!

[identity profile] borg-princess.livejournal.com 2009-07-14 01:50 am (UTC)(link)
Huh, weeeell, okay, you have a point- but Buffy's got issues and legitimately so, I mean, yoinked out of heaven and forced to resume her Slayer-ly duties? That'd bring anyone down, no wonder the girl's not making the best relationship choices. But Spike's devoted to her and he's working on being a good guy, so I think he's still a catch- and I love him more than any of the Scoobies, they piss me off so much in the later seasons. FAIL.

Edward, otoh, is fighting hard not to lose control and go mental and slaughter everyone so he can kill Bella. How the frak is that romantic? Spike's battling his inner demon to work on the side of good, that's romantic, but the Twilight version is basically 'I'm struggling hard not to drain you of all your blood- love me forever?' Ugh.

t's creepy. Twilight crosses the line between passionate, devoted love and emotional dependency and horrible self esteem and abuse.

WORD. That just sums it up so well.
*huggles* It's great getting to talk to you again!

[identity profile] sunny-serenity.livejournal.com 2009-07-13 11:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Jeez, if only Bella were half as smart as Buffy. But she kinda has an excuse, Buffy doesn't. Buffy has all that demony stuff in her where as Bella is a dumb impulsive quixotic teenager. Also, Buffy is funnier.

Also, I'd read that Jane fic. It's so. true. Ahhhhh, I love that show... I love it too much. I'm trying NOT to fall so hard but it's just so AWESOME!! that eventually it will go down the crapper... *sigh*

[identity profile] borg-princess.livejournal.com 2009-07-14 02:10 am (UTC)(link)
Thing is, I can see why people would fall in love with Buffy. But Bella? NO CLUE. I just wish Smeyer had given some rationale for so many guys falling head over heels for her and running around like her little lap dogs. It's total wish fulfilment, lol, who wouldn't want that life, right? But what with her distinct lack of sparkling personality or wit or charm, it baffles me that she's the focus of such adoration. Smeyer apparently said that this happened to her when she moved to a new school- wikipedia, so who knows if it's true or not- that 'her stock went up', but still!

*wriggles* Oh, Mentalist. I needs it NAO, PLZ. How'm I going to last til- however many months away til it airs again? *woes* The first season's so brilliant, I'm going around making my friends and family watch it with me. It's funny how much enjoyment I get from seeing it with a new audience!

[identity profile] sunny-serenity.livejournal.com 2009-07-15 08:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Holy crap, Bella quickly became a Mary Sue. I kinda hate Smeyer for felling the entire feminist movement in one swoop. The Vamps v. Wolves sucked me in and yet, the whole time I'm reading this story I keep telling myself: "Bella is STOOPID! Why are you STILL reading this?" And then I answered: "Hot boys. Duh." It quickly turned into a superficial summer romp in which I discovered if I rewrite Bella in my head by picturing someone worth their weight as an actress the sting lessened a bit. Also, Smeyer is SO full of herself, omg! Wow.

OMG! I am completely converting anyone and everyone I know into watching this. The Old Man and The Mother watch it regularly now and The Bro highly enjoys Van Pelt's purtyfulness.

t's funny how much enjoyment I get from seeing it with a new audience!

That's because it's MAGICK!!!!

[identity profile] dragonladyk.livejournal.com 2009-07-14 01:00 am (UTC)(link)
I would ship you with Miss Parker. You remind me of Brootes in a lot of ways, and I always thought Brootes would be as good for her as Jarod. (I hope I remember right and you're a Pretender fan.)

I LOVE THAT VIDEO. Buffy pwns Twilight in every way. I promised a friend I'd read the whol series (she insists I'll stop hating it if I finish), and so far? Bella is still a dumbass that makes Keller... look like Keller, actually. I'd say they are about equal in suckitude. And Angel did Broody and Starcrossed way better than Edward.

I gave my copy of Twilight to the charity shop.

DragonLady

[identity profile] borg-princess.livejournal.com 2009-07-14 01:44 am (UTC)(link)
Ahaha! Really?! *squishes* That's fantastic, I love Miss Parker!
I was actually planning on having a Pretender marathon now that the dvd player's finally been hooked up in our new house. *eyeroll* We get a massive shiny new plasma tv but then it needs special cords and whatnot to interface with the dvd player. The more advanced we get, the harder it is to make all these pieces of technology work together, argh.

Lmao, I remind you of Broots? *g* That's really so unexpected but appropriate. I can kinda see it, but can you tell me what you think my Broots-like characteristics are?

Whee, relevant icon is relevant! I never thought anyone would actually be able to vid her staking Edward and it worked out so perfectly! I bow down in admiration of this person's work, it's incredible! [And great quality, too, you don't get that a lot on youtube]

Wooow, I cannot believe your friend made you read the series! I've just read Cleolinda's sporking of the books, because it's hysterical and kinda justifies the existence of Twilight just a teensy bit because I got so much entertainment out of her snark- but just reading the snippets she quotes nearly had me head!sploding, I can't imagine what direct exposure would do. Ahhh!

*snorts* Bella and Keller. Definitely topping the list of worst Mary Sues ever. Everybody either wants to be their best friend or falls in love with them. *eyeroll* Because they're SPECIAL and WONDERFUL and ADORABLE. *gags* But at least Keller's kinda useful? I mean, she's a doctor [if a ditzy unethical one at that], so she's just a bit more worthwhile than Bella, whose life revolves around Eddykins.

Ha, I'm sure someone will appreciate your copy of Twilight much more than you- it's inexplicably popular! Like, what, did Smeyer make a deal with the devil or something? It's been out for years and there's still about 50 holds on it at the public library, it makes no sense!

[identity profile] luisa-f.livejournal.com 2009-07-14 02:26 am (UTC)(link)
Hola! Glad to see you back.

OMG, I'm counting the days until my beloved show comes back, I have no patience for this and I've spoiled myself beyond reason. When I watched that episode for the first time I thought it was so cute and adorable that he had her pic (everything about them is cute and adorable), and I also wondered how did he get the pic. He probably annoyed her until she gave in or until she threatened to shoot him.

[identity profile] borg-princess.livejournal.com 2009-07-15 12:22 am (UTC)(link)
It's good to be back. *huggles*

Seriously, how long do we got to go before it's on again?! *iz suffering greatly*
And incidentally, while we're speaking of timelines and such- how do you think the show translates into real life? I mean, do you think it'd be like one case per week, as it is one ep per week? And if the ep airs in February, is it February on the show? So, Red Sauce aired 28/4, does that mean Lisbon's birthday is on a day in that week?

Also. Any idea when spring is in California? Not to be random or anything. :P Google tells me that Red John's Footsteps would've taken place during late spring...?

everything about them is cute and adorable

IKR?! It's impossible for them to be anything else. *squishes them* Okay, they get all gloomy and angsty on occasion, but not for long because they return to that squeefully cute default.

He probably annoyed her until she gave in or until she threatened to shoot him.

It's almost like primary school love at times, lol. I love the image of him dancing around, trying to convince her to pose for a picture and she gets frustrated with him.
'Just take the damn shot and let's move already!'
'But you're frowning. Not that it's unattractive, exactly- your features are arranged in a very pleasing manner, Lisbon, it's near impossible for you to look bad- but you could look better.'
'It's not like I care how this turns out. You're the one that wants the picture.'
'Stop being so stubborn.'
'Stop being a pest!'
'You're still frowning.'
'I don't exactly feel overwhelmed with joy at the moment, which explains why I'm not smiling. I feel irritated, which accounts for the frown. I didn't think it was too difficult to grasp.'
'Does it make you that uncomfortable when I acknowledge you are a beautiful woman? You don't need to deliberately downplay your attractiveness, Lisbon. And in any case, if you think you can achieve that by refusing to smile for a photo, you're sadly mistaken. You still look lovely even when you're upset and glaring at me.'
'If this turns into a lame line like 'you're beautiful when you're mad', I swear, Jane, I will push you over a cliff.'

PS. Does Lisbon say 'oh my god' much? I use that all the time, but she's religious, so it makes me hesitant to write her saying that, even though I know religious people who take the lord's name in vain so it's not a mortal offense, apparently. I wrack my brains and I can't think of specific times when she's gone OMG, except for the season finale but I think it was appropriate given the context of the scene.

[identity profile] luisa-f.livejournal.com 2009-07-20 03:34 am (UTC)(link)
how do you think the show translates into real life?

Going by some characters' remarks and the air dates I would say time in the show passes a bit faster. In Scarlet Fever Van Pelt has been with the team for six months ans since the show started in September it's been five months. However in Russet Potatoes she says she's been working with Jane for nine months and that episode aired only one month after Scarlet fever, making it six months for us but nine months in-show.

I love that little snippet, you should write a drabble, see, it writes itself. *nudge nudge*

I can't remember seeing her saying god that often, maybe once or twice, but she's so reserved and tight lipped she could could be a church going devote kind of person but wouldn't let that show at work. But no, she definitely doesn't use that expression much, she really doesn't seem to have a trademark expression other than raising her eyebrow or rolling her eyes at Jane.

OH. MY. GOD.! is that really youuuuuu????? *eyespopped*

It's meeee. :D I'M SORRY I SCARED YOU. I mentioned exams and moving in an earlier post, and then I got sick and then I was staying over at other people's houses and now it's uni time again and computer access FTW. Missed you lots. *snuggles* I'm here for the long haul now.

I think I'm pretty much over the cold now- just a few random sniffles. I've been sneezing a lot today, ugh. Thankies for the well wishes. *tackles*

hello there! glad to have you back :)

in your second trimester, huh? *giggles*

and that vid was sort of idiotic.... I don't really like mixed vids... only one fandom in a vid is my limit...

Ha, I'm glad someone found that funny because it makes me snort, it's just so weird! I bet if I talk about it in public in a loud voice, people will be sneaking peeks at my stomach, lol.

Aww, I get it won't appeal to everyone, it appeals to a select group of people who absolutely loathe the Twilight vampires and wished there was a Slayer in that universe to slay them all, which is why I loved it.

hehe- it does sounds funny, believe me :P:P

I get it- vampires are hard pets to love *giggles* :P

Omg, she lives!
*glomps*
And wow, that should've been what happened with Twilight, it would've been so much cooler. The whole stalking thing, lol...

And now....
*GLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE*
I was in withdrawal, and I had to get that out there.
Mmkay, I'm good now.

*huggleglomps* Ahaha, glad you're feeling good now! I feel so much better- and I'm sorry I've been terrible about replying, but you were never far from my thoughts, sweetie.

*GLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE*
Y'know,I just watched Sound of Music over the weekend and I'm totally picturing Liesl right now in that gazebo, twirling and ecstatic and arms akimbo, lol. ^_^

*squishes* Hey, I'm just glad you're back. And we're going to have to have a little chat about Mentalist, mmkay? Mmkay. Good.

Ooh, I should go watch that, it's been a couple weeks since it was on last XD

eta I also want to randomly point out that I think akimbo is an awesome word. It makes me flaily. And yes, I flail over words, quite regularly. It's part of my oddly quirky charm.
Speaking of quirky charm, have you ever seen Gilmore Girls? It's insane and awesome.

*squishes* Just barely survived the hiatus- don't know how you do it, bb!
Omg, it fit together so well, though! I burst out laughing at the stalking thing, Buffy summed it up perfectly! Lol, Edward wouldn't last a day on the Hellmouth. Can you imagine the other vampires reactions to him being 'vegetarian'? *cracks up*

Ugggh. These hiatusey things are way overrated. Anybody who tells you different is on crack and not the good kind. xD

And yeah, wow. Never mind that I've never really seen Buffy, I can still imagine how well that would go. And come on, honestly, if you have a choice between Edward and Angel, how could that possibly even be a choice?
