How insanely awesome sounding is this? Snow White and NINJAS, yo. Kung fu + fairytale = *insanely bouncy glee*

But whether or not the movie is real, rather than the figment of some lunatic's imagination, Natalie Portman apparently turned down the role. *woes* I love Natalie Portman, she adds class to her projects. [I don't care how badly Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium was savaged by critics, I'm buying it on dvd, shut up]

You think it's disturbing to watch Magnus like that in a screen-cap, just WAIT to see it in real-time. It was the middle of winter and I had to open a window. Which was distressing because I'm not remotely into bondage or mind-games in a sexual context. But DAMN!!! it's entirely possible that, right after that ep aired, i hit "submit" before I really stopped to THINK about it and posted "Amanda Tapping can tie me to a chair and threaten me with death ANY old day" (okay, so it's not "possible" because it actually happened but i'm fairly sure she doesn't frequent that board since I haven't gotten a Cease and Desist yet, lol. still *flails as well* seriously, i've seen that ep maybe 20 times because i love the dynamics so much (total emotional roller-coaster for the two of them) and that scene is still disturbingly hot

Yeah, Henry's funny. About Druitt "Well, I mean he's all hearts and flowers one day and the next day he's turning a working girl into a canoe!"

Magnus: "Henry, level two lockdown."
Henry: "Threat-level 'holy crap. Check."

And him and Ashley was just so priceless. Both that she would GO there in the first place (what 23 year old female ever admitted to a guy she wasn't related to OR dating that she needed feminine products, even as a cover-story?) and that he knew her well enough to immediately go "ah, she's got a bead on some new illegal weapons. sweet..." It's highly dysfunctional, but I find it rather sweet as well. Granted, I ship the two relentlessly in spite of the fact that ep 8 had a lot of people looking at that 'ship and getting seriously squidged. Sorry, if eps 1 and (ESPECIALLY) ep 4 hadn't been enough to cement it, ep 7 would have done it for me and ep 12 just kind of reinforces that.. Plus, living together for so long, you just KNOW Ashley's needed someone to practice her mad combat-skills who she's not going to accidentally kill and Henry kind of fills that bill. Plus he follows her around like a puppy and there doesn't seem to be much he WOULDN'T do for her (quite aside from him ignoring her going out to buy guns that her mom specifically asked her NOT to).

You can find the first 3 eps here if you need them, but after that, it doesn't have any eps until #9 (which is the excellent ep with the cooed come-on/death-threat. but, while it's very hot to watch, it doesn't make much sense to those of my friends who only got to see the first few eps and then tried to watch it. they were all like "Holy shit! What happened to Magnus?") scifi.com/sanctuary usually has several eps up but they seem to cycle through them and right now they're only showing the last 5 of the season. i haven't managed to find the other eps anywhere online although they are scheduled to be released on DVD in October *sighs at the wait*

My parents were kind of funny in their overall style of raising us. In contrast to the lack of sex ed in our house and the "today you're a woman" speech my father laid on me consisting solely of "we need to talk about plumbing. if you flush any of that girly crap down the toilet and it clogs, i'll skin you alive." ... my drug talk consisted of "this is the list of drugs we will throw you in rehab for even CONSIDERING. these are the drugs you're allowed to use with our knowledge, but only when you get them from people we know and trust.
