1. I am finally vindicated in my refusal to get my license, my almost hysterical aversion to the mere thought of getting behind the wheel and driving myself anywhere. According to this article HERE, Cancerians- especially FEMALES- are more likely to have a car crash than members of any other star sign. It's true. So I totally have a legitimate reason to avoid driving for the rest of the my life. *nods firmly*

[Ignore the fact that my birthday's on the 23rd, so I have a 50/50 chance of being a Cancer or Leo in any random newspaper or magazine]

2. Aaand you know you're getting way too obsessed with those damn cute lolcats when you see random pics like this:



And immediately fight the urge to caption it: 'invisible sandwich'. Or 'invisible cheezburger'. *headdesk*

3. I am saddened by the realization that, wonderful as Gossip Girl is, I much prefer reading the recaps on tv without pity than watching the actual show. I bought chocolate today to read with the new recap, and I don't remember ever being that excited about watching the actual episode itself. *sighs* Still, the knowledge that I have chocolate perks me right back up again. ;)

4. Also along peppy lines, I received new reviews for my fic, An Exercise in Futility. *squees* I know we're supposed to write because of the craft, and it's in our blood, and it's not about the appreciation from other fans but...damn it all, I'm going through the Sparky fics on ff.net in reverse chronological order, and there are one-shots that received like, a hundred reviews back in 2005, and these days, hardly anyone reviews anymore. It's depressing. So...two new reviews is exhilarating. *dances* And on a different fic, The Garden's End, that I haven't updated in MONTHS, someone said that my writing of Elizabeth was better than TPTB. *wriggles* [okay, well, that's easy when they STOP writing her...]

I just wanna say: AWWW. Goddamn, I'm all glowy-like right now.
