Ohhh, that would be a nice fantasy, but no. Deakin is governed by strict regulations, if you ain't filled in the proper paperwork, then nothing doing. The interesting thing is that she wrote on my essay that while she appreciated my excuse, I hadn't requested an extension, so she couldn't refrain from imposing the penalty. But- dude, don't you need a real justification for an extension? I don't think the faculty scatters them around like confetti, or just on the basis that a student was watching tv. To stave off a mental breakdown and psychotic/suicidal depression, but you know. Ostensibly just watching tv. O.o
