[Except my family is hideously un-tv-addicted and had no idea who I was talking about. I had to point to a poster of 'Baby Mama' for anyone to get the reference. Ugh. Why, god? Why stick me with a bunch of people who cannot communicate on my level?]
Anyway, I'm probably one of the last people to see this but while not a fangirl of Tina's [though rapidly becoming one], she has compounded her awesome by slyly responding to or boosting public perception and playing Sarah Palin on SNL. How much more perfect can it be?
I thought it was so, and it became so. My thoughts affected reality. How cool is that? And now that I own the world... XP

1. Why don't you like 11?
Because I like Kate more when she’s with Sawyer. He’s so adorable when he’s trying to win her over, and that nickname he gave her, ‘Freckles’, makes me all warm and fuzzy. The two of them are thick as thieves, they’ve both got criminal pasts, and they fit together better with this unspoken understanding and camaraderie between them. They’re cuter and funnier together.
When she’s with Jack, it’s like she’s always suppressing who she is and trying to be something she’s not and it irritates the hell out of me. It’s like she wants him because he’s good and moralistic and helps people and that he’s her salvation because she can be righteous by association, like she can absorb it through exposure to him. Jack seems like part of a new cover for her so she can leave the bad!Kate behind, rather than someone she truly loves and needs.
Hmm, I just realized I probably hate Chakotay/Seven more than Kate/Jack…but since I spent all this time thinking of the above response, I’ll let it stand.
2. Do you know anybody who ships 13?
Hmm, the only person I know would be…scifi_tv_addict, whose cute icons of this pairing awoke the interest I already subconsciously had for them.
Come on, the two parallel scenes with the macaroons? Could they be any more adorable together?!
3. What would be your ideal circumstances for couple 3?
God, I don’t know, that’s why I read fanfic…but my one wish would be that they had NOT been together in the past. I know, I know, there’s one or two references to a shared sordid history but one of my pet dislikes is couples who’ve hooked up in the past, so I ignore those references and pray that it will remain subtle- at worst- or never brought up again, at best.
One of my favorite fics involved House being stuck at Cuddy’s place during a snowstorm or something, so to while away the time, they watched James Bond and snarked at each other and it was sweet.
Another involved hurt/comfort- Cuddy being injured and House looking after her. That’s always delicious, lol, fic!House trying to be nice while still maintaining his ill-mannered, arrogant asshole reputation.
4. What's your favourite episode of 1?
Ooh, tricky…I’ll cheat and pick one per season, even though that’s still a tough call, but marginally easier than picking one overall!
Season 1- Before I Sleep. Birthday gift ftw!
Season 2- The Long Goodbye. Even though it’s not really them for most of the ep, it’s so much fun…
Season 3- The Real World. The hand-holding, a balcony scene with Shep being all concerned and trying to cheer her up and those long intense gazes interspersed with his warm smiles…[PLUS
The only way this would have been any more awesome would be if we’d taken the best part of Echoes- Shep catching Elizabeth as she fainted and carrying her to the infirmary- and used it here, because dude, that would’ve been the ship trifecta of awesome!
5. Since when do you ship couple 6?
Funny story. I corresponded with a House fan for a while who mentioned The Pretender and expounded in great depth about the complexity and nuances and tragedy of Jarod and Miss Parker’s relationship, and I fell for the ship before I ever saw an episode of the show! I now own all four seasons and the movies.
6. Why did you stop shipping couple 8?
Because even Juliet accepted that Jack would never choose her. I was so happy when they kissed…then that ep with the stupid surgery, even when I was all ‘see how cool she is? She is so calm and focused and she’s SAVING HIS LIFE while Kate’s whingeing and moaning about how she can’t stand to look at Jack or comfort him because she’s so GROSSED OUT, THE FRAKKING SISSY’, for some reason, the writers decided to end the convoluted love square and have Juliet tell Kate that she wouldn’t compete with her for Jack because they weren’t meant to be. *headdesk*
7. You have the power so that one couple doesn't exist. pick either 10 or 12.
Wait, WHAT? You mean the characters don’t exist? Well, that’d screw up my own ships terribly if Shep or House didn’t exist. I’m going to interpret that as ‘the power to make sure one SHIP doesn’t exist’ as in no one ever thinks of pairing those two characters together and assaulting my brain with their suckiness.
Hmm, well, since the show has effectively nullified House/Cameron…
He rejected her because her puppy crush was pathetic
She rejected him to save her pride
She’s in a relatively stable happy relationship with Chase [and all it took was to be downgraded from main characters to barely recurring- there is no time for anymore of their relationship dramas in the show]
…I’m going to pick Sheppard/Teyla. The thought makes me cringe.
Seriously, I don’t care how many people say the Sparky hug in Siege was just as awkward as the Sheyla hug, what matters is his EXPRESSION- he looks so overcome and like he has the most precious thing in the world in his arms with Elizabeth, and the way he slowly returns her hug is adorable, like he’s afraid he’s dreaming and when he touches her, the spell will be broken and he’ll wake up. COME ON, it’s so obvious.
Also? Note that of all the times he’s ever saved her life, he’s never begrudged her for it or implied that it was his duty or whatever. Teyla? In the

Ohh, Daniel and Vala are cute, but Adama/Roslin must win out here. they started out in a place of such contempt and dislike for each other, then graduated to a deep abiding love and innate need for each other. He can’t live without her. Dude.

9. What interests you about 14?
Umm, let me summarize with a hefty quote from Zero Point Snark’s recap of Trinity.
“Barely containing the urge to smack some sense into him, Teyla calmly explains that it was all part of her master plan and that "a negotiation is a delicate process. The words spoken are often meaningless." Ha! Then how come Shep still manages to stick his foot in his mouth all the time? Oh, wait.. it's the "delicate process" part he has yet to master. This whole argument is actually giving me an emotional flashback to all the John and Elizabeth fights from Season One. Their relationship is very similar to the one we've seen already with the Leader (Elizabeth and Teyla) using words and diplomacy to reach her goals for her people while the Military Second in Command (John and Ronon) has no qualms of exerting force as a coercive tool. HE will countermand her actions with a show of force, thereby guaranteeing a major ass-reaming from HER. *watches the parallels with glee* So now, not only have Ronon and Teyla taken a page out of the John and Elizabeth Guide to Eyefucking, they've also registered for classes in the Sheppard/Weir School of Negotiations and Power Struggles. Conclusion: Ronon/Teyla4EVAR!”

10. When did you stop liking 7?
After the zillionth partner that either Carter or Jack took. And then he left the show.
Look, I LIKE ships that take a long time to admit their love for each other- for instance, Mulder/Scully. But I need the couple to have an obvious commitment to each other, a sort of ‘I value you before all others, I’d rather be friends with you than romantically involved with anyone else’ type of creed, not go off and get engaged, for goodness sake. How do I buy them having some deeper emotion for this person they’re supposed to be with and destined to hook up with when they’re willing to make that commitment to another person? That’s what killed Harm/Mac for me and prevented me getting into the show when after a few eps, when I saw her about to marry this dude, and then she’s outside on the porch with Harm and I think she kisses him and then they’re STILL figuring out their feelings for each other…and just…no. At that point, I lose respect for them.
11. When you lost interest for 9, did you lose interest in the series?
Heck no. HOUSE AND CUDDY, ZOMG!
I suppose I was affectionately disposed towards Cameron and Chase’s romance, but I wasn’t invested in it by any means. I just had to pick a ship that I used to like but wasn’t into any more, and since I haven’t given up any major ship that I’ve been obsessed with, I picked a minor pairing I liked.

Lifehouse- Hanging by a Moment
Mulder and Scully…forever chasing after each other…falling more in love with one another…it’s a fun song, upbeat and peppy, but it’s got an undertone of angst in there, and the line about ‘starving for truth’ is so Mulder.
13. Which ship do you like the most?
Elizabeth/Shep ftw!
14. Which one do you like the least?
Out of my top six ships? Hmm…the one I could live without would be…Jarod/Miss Parker, I guess. It’s so incredibly frustrating how few times they’re actually in the same room with each other! So in that sense, I like this one the least because it offers so little for shippers to cling to!
15. If you could make two of these couples have a double date, which one would you choose?
Elizabeth/Shep and…well, my first instinct was Daniel/Vala because Elizabeth and Daniel are already friends and Vala is so adorable and fun, it would be such a blast to get these couples together. But since they exist in the same universe and could conceivably be canon, considering The Pegasus Project, I’ll put it aside and wait for someone to fic it for me… ;)
I’ll pick Roslin/Adama, because then Elizabeth and Roslin can talk about the burden of responsibility they bear as female leaders, dealing with stubborn intractable military men who think they know best…and Shep and Adama can bond over how to placate the women in their lives and then compare war stories.
16. Has the second couple kissed yet? make it up if you'd like.
YESSSSSSSS! And it was so beautifully perfect, I wouldn’t WANT to rewrite or make it up myself. Fanfiction has nothing on the way the milestones in this couple’s relationship are handled by the writers. I mean, obviously, I need fic because there’s never enough Roslin/Adama scenes in each ep, but the first kiss, the first ‘I love you’ and all that is beautifully and perfectly written in the show.
17. Did 4 have a happy ending? If the series isn't over, do you think it'll end well?
The ending they had in the season finale wasn’t all that happy…being stuck in a time dilation field with no escape for decades would cast a gloom over any relationship… but it makes me feel positive that they will get together and be happy, even if it’s never canon.
18. What would make you start shipping 13?
Another movie with more Carter/Cam delightful snarkiness and hurt/comfort!
19. If only one could happen, which one would you choose, 2 or 6?
Definitely 2- Adama/Roslin.
20. You have the power to choose the fate of 12. What would happen to them?
Well, pretty much what happens in the show- she finds happiness with another doctor, and House continues to flirt/insult Cuddy…
