Oh, Marguerite is hands-down, my absolute favourite character. I could write essays, on how awesome she is.
See, with this show, they had the good luck of knowing - ahead of time - that Rachel and Will had amazing chemistry (ie. "Tales of the South Seas"). Hence why they were able to go so full-on with the intended romance, because they already knew that it was going to be intense. I love that. I love that it was all pre-planned, that Marguerite and Roxton were always going to end up together. It made getting there all the more fun!
Oh and their argument in "Trapped" is seriously, the best scene in the ENTIRE series, because it's so raw. It doesn't hold back, it's intense and...I think i might just go watch it, lol.
