I told you it was eating my brain. Yesterday afternoon when I got home, I had nothing to do [finally!] until we went to pick up my dad from the airport. Therefore it seemed perfectly reasonable to cram my brain with TLW.

So I'm not the only person who was confuzzled by that. I sat there wondering about that for the longest time. Basic first aid says put pressure on the wound and try to stop the bleeding. For a second I considered some sort of bullet proof vest, until I remembered a) that would be ridiculous, b) it's nineteen-twenty-something, they don't exist [though stranger things may've happened, and c) it's ridiculous.
