Ahaha, I need to rewatch that moment! *squees* I love that kiss, I love that whole ep! I have this kink about noble!heroic!characters being all dark and possessed or doppelgangered, so I was just in raptures the whole way through, lol.
Though I did think the dialogue the writers gave Marguerite to sway not!Roxton was a little eyeroll-worthy, because really, hair? Is warm and soft and smells nice, yes, but love is an intangible force that cannot be conveyed through HAIR.
I know most of the TLW fandom just LOVES the kissing scenes in Dead Man's Hill (S3 eps) ... but damnitalltohel it's not, I mean NOT MARGUERITE Roxton is kissing.
YES. THAT. ITA. I don't mind people flailing like it's the hottest thing ever, but come on, don't act like it's part of our ship! The kiss in Paradise Found is one thing because I believe that fruit released her inhibitions and allowed her to act on her desires, but Dead Man's Hill is low down on my list of eps to rewatch because I'd rather squee over an ep that focuses heavily on the ACTUAL M nd R, not a proxy, kthxbai. If you count that kiss in Dead Man's Hill as an M/R kiss, you may as well count the one in The Knife between the pseudo!M and R in Malone's visions, and that'd be ridiculous, so I rest my case.
