Though I did think the dialogue the writers gave Marguerite to sway not!Roxton was a little eyeroll-worthy, because really, hair? Is warm and soft and smells nice, yes, but love is an intangible force that cannot be conveyed through HAIR.
I actually loved that dialogue. Since technically, love, is intangible, having Dark!Roxton feel the warmth of her hair (warmth from the sun) and that it was real, tangible and I would imagine that Roxton enjoys playing with it, touching it, caressing it lovingly, Marguerite was hoping that Dark!Roxton would have memories of that. She was trying to help him connect to something real.
Well in Malone's visions, it wasn't really M/R, they just showed up because he was confusing his reality with that of the reality of Jack the Ripper. But yeah, that kiss and the kiss in DMH so do NOT count in the M/R universe I live in. ;)
