marguerite_kruxI mean, Barbarians at the Gate, Netty's all, 'OMGWTFBBQMICE?!' at the most literal interpretation of a cliff-hanger in any show ever, and I'm just giggling away, 'Look at the poor woobies! Mwahaha, it's so laaame!' And Resurrection, that opening where the blonde Viking chick introduces Roxton to the pointy end of her blade? Netty curls up in this little ball and I'm like, 'What, is it Will's terrible overacting?' and she's like, 'No, I'm just telling myself it's going to be okay, he has to make it to season 2...and get a better haircut...' Heh. That's the one thing she does criticize and often, and with good reason. Roxton's HAIR, OMFG.
I bet his hair care regime takes longer than Marguerite and Veronica's combined.
But one mystifying, perplexing, implausible haircut later...*wriggles with glee* :D
We're playing this little game along the way, identifying reused clips and sets. Funny how something like a small budget ends up allowing for a lot of giggles as we view the eps, I mean, I love it, I wouldn't want it any other way, heh.

Also? Katherine and I were going out for lunch and as we're driving along- thankfully, this time she refrained from asking me to take the wheel as she checked her phone, probably because the last few times I nearly ended up steering us into the wrong lane- she goes, apropos of nothing, 'I really like the name Marguerite'. And she makes sure to emphasize, 'Not Margaret, Marguerite.'
My first thought was- well, incoherent squeeing. Second- 'Totally having a sleepover and making her sit through a TLW marathon these holidays'. Third- 'OMG, my dream of making someone name their kid Marguerite might actually come true!' :P

1. If you couldn't use your metabolism stealing power for evil, how would you utilize it?
Ahaha, is this a trick question? Am I supposed to answer ‘but I’d use it for good, of course!’ NOT. I’m an evil Cylon supervillain in my spare time, you know. If this metabolism-stealing weapon is removed from my arsenal, I shall simply come up with other schemes in pursuit of evil.
2. Have you had any past lives that you can recall? What were they? Have you ever been a monk?
I think one generally has to go to a special past-life-recalling specialist, right? Since I’ve never been, no, I don’t recall any past lives and definitely none that involve being a monk. O.o

I do love my principled-women-in-authority, for instance, Lisbon, Emily, Scully…but I have a soft spot for the bad girl with the good heart underneath all the attitude and snark and endless scheming.
5. What did you dream about in the last dream you remember having?
I think I've been watching too much BSG lately...I dreamt I was one of 'God's angels'...and I'm not religious, so BSG is definitely influencing this dream, lol. I could heal people, I could fly, I had this radiant golden glow although I don't know about any halos... :P

1 - Only child or do you have siblings?
Only child. I’d like to say my parents ‘couldn’t improve on perfection’ but given our constant battles over the way I keep screwing up, I’m thinking they’re grateful they didn’t have more kids because they couldn’t deal with twice the disappointment.
2 - What is your fav comfort food?
Oooh, so many answers!
‘k, for a cheap, readily available snack- mi goreng. These noodles are heaven and so easy to make; I don’t even use the stove, I just leave them in boiled water for a few minutes, then drain and add the spices, etc. Laziness is my forte. :P
If someone else is buying, I’m a big fan of fast food. KFC in particular. Mmm.
I adore pepperoni pizza but my father’s Hindu so we can’t have beef in the house. *eyeroll* He actually told me I liked it just to be difficult and that all the pizzas were the same. Um, wtf? Pepperoni be different from chicken be different from ham-and-pineapple and so on and so forth. That’s why we have varieties, because they DON’T TASTE THE SAME. /rant.
3 - If you could have dinner with 4 other people (dead or alive), who would they be? (aside from Rachel ;-b LOL )

sunkrux oh-so-kindly removed the ONE PERSON that would most definitely top this list… *evil eyes* Let’s see, who else…
Torri Higginson, because I’ve loved her for a few years now and I don’t think I’m getting over her anytime soon. *swoons*
Paget Brewster, because I’ve seen a few youtube clips of her and she is funny as, great sense of humor, really entertaining and I’m sure she’d be good company.
Will Snow, because if I can’t have Rachel, he’s the next best thing. :P From what I’ve seen of him in the bloopers and in convention vids, he’s also good fun and he’d have some awesome stories.
And…odakota_rose , because she’d appreciate the fangirly joy of this dinner party. And with this company, I’d just start panicking and freeze up due to my terrible social anxiety, exacerbated by the pressure of conversing with three people I absolutely worship, so having a fellow fan along would ease my nerves. Also, we need to flail over TLW and other fandoms in person at some stage in my lifetime.:D
4 - What do you want to do with yourself once you're done with schooling?
I have no frelling idea. Yes, I’m a wuss, but the idea of FINISHING uni is terrifying. I mean, my whole life has been about school and I can’t imagine what I’m going to do afterwards.
5 - Favorite animal?
I haven’t been around many varieties of animal. Cats and dogs and- uh, goats are the limit of my experience. After the rather traumatic childhood experience involving a goat, and after being abandoned by numerous dogs while growing up, I’m gonna go with cats. They’re independent and don’t need to be amused, and I’m envisioning quiet evenings with a book and the cat curled up on my lap. :D Ah, bliss.
