It's a legend that gets passed from generation to generation, my grandma was the one who told me about it, and it's definitely something you don't tell a child, I had nightmares about it.

It seems it has some roots in reality. We get little tremors all the time since we're situated on a tectonic belt, and geologists think the pressure is accumulating until one day there will be one big earth quake. Apparently the people who built this city weren't so smart and they used garbage as base filling and built the city over it. So one big shake and it's a goner. I love my city but as soon as I'm finished with uni I'm out of here.

I liked House, but I never approved of the way he blatantly disrespected and denigrated Cuddy, and I don’t want to see that kind of dynamic being replicated here.

I can't watch House because of that, the way he treats people, he's mean, Jane can be mean sometimes but he's more of a prankster, not mean spirited, and he apologizes and Lisbon would never allow him to go as far as House goes. And thank god, she left him standing there because when he threatened to leave I was begging for tptb to not let her cave. He was just bluffing anyway, and she saw right through him, smart girl.

I think what makes the Jane/Lisbon dynamics different is that she won't take any of his shit, if she lets him get away with some of his pranks it is because she find him entertaining, even if she won't admit it but come on look at her little smiles, he amuses her.

She calls him a pain in the butt, he calls her grumpy and feeds her strawberries, I love this ship so much, they're are adorable.

She gets a crush and suddenly she’s a brainless twit?

According to Rowling that's how girls get when they have a crush, their brain stops functioning because girls are stupid little things whose entire world begins revolving around a guy when they fall in lurve.

LoTR is BOOOOOORING, Tolkien is a lousy narrator, reading his battles is like reading a list "and then the armies arrived, and a guy got killed, and then another one got stabbed, and another one, and another one... and... another one... and it was over".

I read the Hobbit when I was a kid, I had a crush on Bilbo Baggins, lmao, I don't know why I had this image of him being this handsome brave young man and to me he was so dashing and daring, it didn't register that he was a hobbit or the hairy feet and the small stature, it just blew over my 8 year old head, I was in love.
