It was pretty worrying 'coz we have heaps of relatives there, and then they were talking about the possibility of more earthquake activity and yeah, freaky. *shudders* But I think, heartless as this sounds, it wasn't as bad as it could've been- it didn't affect Samoa as badly as American Samoa, there was a lower death toll and less destruction, 'coz of its geographic location or something, I'm not so good with geography.
