What TPTB of Stargate should have done with Cam & Vala is done (yet another) spin off.
Huh. I hadn't ever thought of that possibility- WHY didn't anyone think of that possibility?! What an epic idea that'd've been, Vala and Cam in their own series. *pouts* It'd be so much more fun than the rubbish that is SGU. *gags*
Don't get me wrong, I love Vala. Cam (to me) was pretty much John Crichton in a different show. So don't hate me.
Lol, I wouldn't hate you for that! Even if I disagreed, which I don't, because yes, Cam was John Crichton Mark II, but I didn't care because I thought he was funny and such a wonderful character to have around, that it was great having him resurrected on SG-1.
Yes, I see your point. I guess since I'm not an actor, I don't really understand the drive and ambition and...I guess hunger to get the juicy roles and extend their skills and get out of their comfort zone to try new and exciting things. I'm practical- like, where is the money coming from? HOLD ONTO IT FOR DEAR LIFE.
I was so upset with Rob Lowe for leaving WW to look for 'challenges' and then his career ended up going down the drain for a few years til Brothers and Sisters came along. So good for him for wanting an adventure, but at the same time, damn him for screwing over my show!
He was really good in The Game Plan and Race to Witch Mountain.
I love those two movies, although I was so irritated at the way they portrayed Kyra Sedgwick's character on TGP. *frowns* Why is it necessary for them to make a mockery of her? I don't know. But I think he really missed the mark with the Tooth Fairy. Thank goodness he's going back to action now...
