I like that by the end of it, they're on the same page and they're working together rather than against each other *stabs canon* but still a little unsure around each other. Like when Snape's not totally sure Harry will approve of what he did to the Dursleys. *smirks*
Some fics, whatever ship,after hey're together, they immediately tune into the same wavelength and can predict each other's responses and attitudes and actions precisely and there's never any uncertainty or whatever. I like that here, they're still learning about each other and figuring it out. Very true to life.
