That's the point. Kahlan's not perfect. Which is one reason of fiftygazillion as to why she's so awesome. Kahlan knows Mord'Sith are evil, whether it's prejudice or common sense, she did not experience what Richard did with Cara, and so she (understandably) didn't trust her in the least. She doubted Richard's faith because look where that's gotten them before! Just because Cara lent a helping hand, it didn't mean that she didn't have a darker/evil motive for it... I wouldn't have trusted Cara either if I were Kahlan! She was erring on the side of caution which is the balance for Richard's GANGWAYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!

That's shoddy writing, either put in the effort to make it believable or don't start with it at all.

The writing for "Dark" was just atrocious and Leo needed to never have happened. I can't even go into how annoyed I was with the whole thing. I made a post about the OOC'ness in my journal if you're interested in THAT rant...

From what I've heard, it was really Bridget's pushing that enabled the change. She really wanted Kahlan to have a more badass, fighting friendly outfit.

Agreed. It's a hot look, but really out of place. Save the made up look for special occasions! There needs to be more variation. It shouldn't have to be one or the other.
