There must be more fandom stuff we have in common. *thinks*

HP is such a diverse fandom it's hard not be in conflict with anyone, I don't ship anything but when people find out I hate Ginny and Rupert Grint they immediately assume I'm a rabid H/Hr shipper who hates Ron's guts, never-mind Ron is actually the only Weasley I like, I love Ron but do you think anybody bothers to hear me out? No, if you hate Ginny and don't worship at Rupert's feet then H/Hr must be the reason. So I just choose to stay away from any discussion just to avoid the headaches.

In the end JK couldn't gather the energy or the interest to finish what she started, she ran out of steam by OoTP. So I blame the mis-characterizations on her horrible writing. What she did to Hermione in books six and seven is unforgivable, and the way she abandoned Luna in the Half-Baked plot, it pissed me off so much I almost cried. I missed Luna so much in book six but Rowling had to shove her into a dark corner to make room for Ginny and the chest monster.

And I love the trio, ever since the first moment I've loved those kids and it's the only thing that has withstood the test of time and Rowling's laziness. Gosh! I hate that talentless hack so damn much.

But re: Mentalist...Jane's just such a JERK this season.

He's always been a jerk, maybe that's the thing, when I watched the Pilot I was taken aback by how they could make the main character such a big jerk, so insensitive and full of himself. So I try to think how is he any worse right now, and I can't find much of a difference, his schemes have grown more outrageous but that's about it. He's always been inconsiderate too. But Simon Baker is so very pretty.

Even LISBON gets over it in two seconds,

This is more of a Robin thing, she's supposedly said to tptb that she didn't want Lisbon constantly at odds with Jane, so I guess they made her more accepting.

Jane's antics I take as the actions of a man who knows no boundaries and who doesn't realize or doesn't care about how warped his version of reality is.

When I look at what he did in Code Red and his perfectly logical (for him) explanation, oh he only wanted to cheer up Lisbon, he reminds me of my cat. She's a lovable cat who adores me, and every once in a while she'll go outside to the garden and hunt for the biggest grossest wall lizard she can find. I have a wall lizard phobia but my kittie brings the lizards and calls me like she's brought me a big present, she makes a big spectable "look mommy what I got you!". Never mind mommy is having a heart attack because she feels the lizard is going to eat her.

So to me, Jane is the cat and his gift to Lisbon was a huge squirmy goopy lizard.

Emma is another of the reason's why I stay clear of that fandom, the girl gets so much hate, specially from RG's fans.
