I always thought that Lisbon was the exception to this rule, it made their relationship more special, y'know? Remember in that ep where he made Van Pelt pretend to be his fiancee and got her to pose for the painter dude while he insulted and criticized her? We were all like 'oh, he went with Van Pelt because he knew that there was no way Lisbon would let him get away with it and he respects her too much, aww' but now, that's totally not the case, he denigrates her in public in more than one ep and it annoys me so much that she lets him.

I didn't mind him not getting with Cuddy earlier because he wasn't in the mental zone where he could have a healthy, meaningful relationship without sabotaging it and making both parties miserable. But for him to have healed and to be running around, trying to make her accept him and be with him...it hurts me to see him make himself so vulnerable, to be so transparent in his attempts to win her over and then get rejected. It SUCKS so bad. I wish they could show he had changed WITHOUT making him suffer like that. It's just so contrived.

she is seeing a possibility for a settlement and normalcy and she can't risk that for a person that could still break her heart at any time.. that's what I think at least!

Okay, that's a good theory, because much as I hate to admit it, I find Lucas charming and he's good for her and the baby whereas House is a loose cannon. But I've been on his side for too long now to be happy that the ship is crashing and burning.

House and Jane are alike in this relationship thing.. it's hard to imagine each with whom we wanted them to be with 'coz they're all messed up to be in a relationship!

Ha, at this point, House is more ready for a relationship, he's a lot more mentally stable than Jane!
