Well, let's look on the bright side. Even if there WAS CM merchandise, it'd probably be boring and have just 'Criminal Minds' in block print with no pretty artsy stuff on it. Fandom's much more creative. Plus, as you said, there's shippy stuff out there which would NOT be endorsed by TPTB, heh.

Exactly. I definitely gravitate to the older actors on a show- the more grounded, rational, composed characters. I'm not so into the impulsive, hot-headed youngsters, which may explain some of my issues with Morgan.
Btw. I'm a little confused- have we seen a birthday party for Reid? Or am I mixing up fandom and the show? Because I could swear I've seen images of Reid with a party hat and being all cute and gleeful, but I don't think that would actually have been on the show, so...I'm lost!
