you might actually find you enjoy working. I always have since, for 7-8 hours a day, it largely takes my mind off how much my regular life sucks. and office time is easy time. don't worry about the people interacting thing. i am a TERRIBLE introvert but it never bothered me in a work situation because I felt like I was borrowing my authority/validity/belonging from my employer and could return it at the end of the day and go back to being me. it always surprised coworkers when they'd run into me outside of an office context.

plus, you know, MONEY!!! and free clothes :D

sounds like going back to your school was nice even if it did make you miss those days. just remember that you can make a new life now that might be almost as nice as that one (and eventually better; trust me from experience. high school is NOT as good as it gets)
