I'm from this country and I don't understand it myself. I never, ever had fun drinking at parties, and I don't drink alcohol to this day (and I'm 25 now). Alcohol makes me sad, why would I want to drink it? LOL

*high fives* Yay us non-drinkers, woohoo!

And I think it's partly born out of the desire to appear 'grown-up' [funny how kids want to demonstrate that through drinking and having sex but never productive ways] and also because parents give their kids drinks when they're young, I mean, I read in the paper about parents offering kids champagne on special occasions, like weddings and graduations, etc., which normalizes drinking at that young age. *shakes head*

LMAO

She leads such a hard life, I swear! :P

Yeah, being so gorgeous and so rich. *envies and hates just a little*

Season 1 is awesome. *waves proud Season 1 flag*

I suppose it's just because I read the book so I know basically what happens, and I'm bored by the Bill/Sookie thing, so I decided to come back when they were more settled as a couple instead of putting up with the new 'will-I-won't-I' drama of recently hooked up couples who still have a bunch of issues to work through. *yawns*

And kinda annoying but she did grow on me towards the end.

Annoying? Bite your tongue! Gah, I wish I could make people see characters the way I see them- I saw someone bashing Rachel yesterday and it just-I don't take it personally, really, but it still threw me and made me a little sad because that girl needs more love and understanding, damn it.

So maybe I should just keep my mouth shut. :P

No, no, no need to restrain yourself, I'm always happy to hear your opinions!

He doesn't die. :)

WHEE! *bounces*
I don't ship them exactly- he's too cute and roly-poly like a little puppy for me to ship- but I want her to be happy. ^_^

I don't watch True Blood for her. I'm all about Sookie (and Eric). Sookie is strong and independent and I love her to pieces. *squishes Sookie*

She totally pwns Sookie. :P

I AM AGHAST.

Lol, sorry! But Sookie...she's a strong character, yes, and I respect her, I don't have anything too bad to say, but she's just a little grating at times. And that gap in her teeth is distracting.

The thing is, I don't have a problem with her actions most of the time, but the way she says things...like when she encountered that mind-reader dude and she's all 'We need to stick together, exchange stories, have each other's backs' blah blah blah, it was so...whiny sounding, ack!

Okay, not whiny- but...I can't describe it, So earnest and pushy and just not even considering any other perspectives but her own. That's what bugs me, she's got these blinkers on all the time.

Yes, he redeemed himself to me, as well. Ooh funny story you may (not?) be interested in, I totally saw him in Season 2 of Sex & the City today as a waiter. I lol'd. :D

Never mind, he's sure to frak up again and we'll be back to loathing him! :P

Ha, he was a mere waiter in the movie. Did he get pushed around? *smirks*

I'm still hopeful Rachel will dump the obviously gay guy and hook up with Finn again. I'm probably the only one who thinks he's gay but still. ;-)

Lol, he does come off a bit gay, huh? :D OMG, imagine if he and Kurt had a thing! :O

Just curious, why do you want Finn and Rachel together? I want her happy and if he makes her happy, then I'll deal with it, but Finn's a blank slate of a character, he's...boring. SO boring.
