Okay, I loathe Ron, but I don't see him ever laying a hand on Hermione. I read a discussion on this the other day in the POA spork on deathtocapslock and they thought it was because of this one line where he tells her to 'shut her mouth or I'll make you shut it'. Sounds really menacing, eh? Especially from a boy to a girl. So probably some fic writer took that line and ran with it, sparking other people's imaginations ['oh, what a great idea! Now we can ship Hermione with our idea of her One True Love and get rid of Ron this way!'] and then it became a massive thing. *shrugs*
But yeah, lol, Hermione's more physically violent than him!
As for cheater!Ron...*headdesk* That only came about because of his dalliance with Lavendar in HBP, I think, by going out with a cheerful, affectionate chick that's not shy about showing her feelings for him in more loving ways than siccing canaries on him, he's so gonna grow up to be a lousy, two-timing prick. *eyeroll*
he'd just get all sullen and drink himself into a depressed state..
Lol, so true! Why don't we see the kids get drunk, btw, they're always guzzling butterbeer. What's the alcohol content in that stuff?!

Oh, absolutely. The fact that his shirt's off in half those pictures in no way suggests any appreciation on my part of his immensely lust-worthy bod. :P
