if you get plenty of exercise, you can hold off the inevitable longer

Noooo! The forbidden word has been uttered! *shrinks in horror at the e-word*

thanks to my stupid hormones

Wait, you have hormone issues in addition to all the other things that are afflicting you? Or is the hormone thing related to the other stuff? *iz so clueless about medical conditions* That’s not involved in the arthritis, at least, I’m pretty sure.

you actually tend to gain more weight if you eat very little most of the time and only binge occasionally

Lol, I know, people have been telling me that for years now! If I were skipping meals as a weight-loss thing, I would definitely rethink it, but it’s just that when I get a computer, I can’t leave because there is fierce competition and it wouldn’t be there when I come back, so I’ve gotten used to not eating til late afternoon. *shrugs* I was never a breakfast person as a teen, and skipping lunch came next when I got older. My body’s used to it now, I’m just dreading the day when it turns on me.

in the States, we call the first one "chips" and the second "fries" (well, actually, here, KFC calls them "potato wedges" since fries are usually rectangular in nature

Ohhh! ‘k, well, technically they’re fries here as well, but people call them chips anyway. We’re lazy like that, lol.

Mmm, I used to love wedges at high school- and now it’s been banned from the menu, thanks to politicians turning this into a nanny state. Did you know they fine people for leaving their car unlocked? Because if,IF, it gets stolen, then it causes more work for the police- so they’re fining people for something that might not even happen, it’s stupid!

i really think people expect too much from them

Just expecting them to remember my birthday shouldn’t be too much. Or remembering to hang out with me once in a while. *pouts*

internet friends tend to have much greater commonalities in my experience

Definitely, we make internet friends based on similar interests so it’s easier because we have more to talk about and it makes for a stronger bond, imo! *squishes you*

it sounds like you're in a good place which is excellent *hugs you* just make sure to stay there, yeah?

I’ll do my best, ma’am! *salutes*

I think Ron could possibly have grown into a really great guy but, as written by JKR, he was a total prat. fanfic in that verse definitely exists (or SHOULD ideally) to correct JKR's shit-mess of a canon

Lol, I love your judgment of her series. Yeah, I really wish someone had taken her ideas and placed them in the hands of a talented writer, because it had so much promise and then imploded spectacularly when she couldn't cope with the demands of complex characters and twisty plots and all. *sighs with regret*

just remember that bad boys are only acceptable in fiction where they have redeeming characteristics. irl, they're to be avoided like the plague

*nodnod* I'm in the middle of this YA book that is pissing me off so much because the main chick keeps yearning for the main guy, even though he keeps blowing her off and being rude and hot-and-cold, omfg! He may be good-looking, that's no reason to let him crush your self-esteem, gahhh!
