Yes, it's a good thing Chris is a happy drunk, not a mean one! It was funny, he called this dude up to the stage for a hug for NO REASON AT ALL. Very affectionate indeed. I did have a good time, even if it wasn't what I expected- but I'm so hanging out for him to come back next year and do it over again but BETTER. Maybe he'll have sobered up by then? XP

Heh, mothers all know each other. There must be a secret code to this gig or something. It was so sweet, I was delivering my papers yesterday and it started raining just as I was finishing- she rang me up to check if I was all right because I've had a cold this week, and then told me to go to her cupboard and dig around in the back...she had a packet of these coffee lollies I'm addicted to, so that was just lovely! I felt like bursting into song, this old song from my youth, 'Jubilation! She loves me again!' *sighs*
