I love people who keep lists! Just saying. ;P

On the OMGYAY list:

* The library got in my Criminal Minds book today! It won't be as good as shippy fanfic, lol, but it'll do til my next fix. I'm so glad it's a season 2/3-ish book, I was hoping to get one with Emily Prentiss in it. *dances*
* GOING TO ARMAGEDDON THIS SAT! *squees* DAVID HEWLETT AND MICHAEL SHANKS ZOMG! [If one of them has backed out without me knowing, I will painfully dismember the organizers. *nods firmly*]
* We have our car back from the repair people! I was getting so sick of the 'new advanced' models that let out the most irritating alarms when I take off my seatbelt before the car has come to a full complete stop. GAH.
* The land people have finally started doing some work on our land! We might ACTUALLY HAVE OUR OWN HOUSE NEXT YEAR! *glees* And the best part is my parents are on one side of the house, while I'm at the other end, with my own bathroom and tv. :D

On the SUCKYFAIL list:

* My laptop won't let me rip my CM eps for some reason. It has only burnt one whole ep so far, and anywhere between 2-10 minutes of others. *pouts* NOT COOL. I'm tempted to buy the legal copies now, damn it. But at $60 for season two, and with season three not even out in Australia yet? It's looking like my fanvid aspirations are doomed to failure. >_< I'm actually thinking of going and downloading episodes I already own. How unfair is that?
* Exams next week. Talk about DOOM. Aaannd an essay due tomorrow that I'm...working on tomorrow. O.o
* Photobucket hates my guts. It won't let me upload pics which kinda makes it hard to PICSPAM things. I'm going to uni tomorrow, so hopefully their more advanced computers will succeed where crappy public library ones have failed. Unless the filters now block photobucket... *tears out hair*

Well, does it make it any better that apparently Michael's not turning up. *sulks* Hopefully Kavan will be there, which semi-makes up for it...have you seen 4400? He was so cute on that show, heh.

DAVID DAVID DAVID! *glees* Out of curiosity, what would you have him sign? I'm terrible at thinking up things for them to write, I kinda think it's their job to make up something like 'it's a pleasure to meet you' or whatever general pleasantry, you know? Then there's Katherine who got Chris Judge to write 'love you always, Katherine' on her picture, lol. Wish I'd thought of that! :D

FYI, The Hub and Armageddon announced a couple of weeks ago that, unfortunately, Michael has had to postpone coming down to NZ and Aus. Attending in his place now is Kavan Smith, and Gary Jones has been invited, too.

Thanks for letting me know, forewarned is forearmed. If I'd had to find out on the day without prior knowledge, it wouldn't have been pretty. Sucky...but ohhh, Kavan? *glees* I was in a dilemma over whether to pay $70 for a con with him and Gary, but if he's confirmed to come to the expo and Gary's maaayyybee coming, then that means I can save my money! It's ALMOST good enough to make up for it. Thanks for the good news, lol. :D /rapid mood swings.

Btw. Post-pone...meaning Michael might reschedule for a later date? Like later this year? *iz hopeful*

Oh - forgot to add that bit in. Michael had to postpone due to his work on the series Burn Notice.

And yes, the word "postpone" was used by those making the announcement. :-) It's hoped he'll be able to be down here sometime early next year. :-)

Ah, EXCELLENT. So all is not lost! And whoa, he's on Burn Notice? What is with sci-fi pplz joining that show? First Caprica Six and now Daniel Jackson?! I might have to start watching it now!

Oh, you must check it out! He plays bad oh-so-good. One episode for Season 2 has already aired in the U.S. and here in Aus, and he was back to film a scheduled further 3 episodes, which will air from January 2009 (the remainder of Season 2). Not sure when Aus will get those.

I have the other one....I think its called Killer Profile. I havent read it yet but I think thats because every time I see those books I want it to be a big fanfiction extravaganza but its like watching the show. I would rather watch than read. But I bought it to give it a chance. Its collecting dust with all of my other books. I really hope to get to it someday.

Hmm, I just looked it up and the reviews were less than ecstatic. I think I'll wait and see if the library gets it, because unless it focuses a whole lot on Prentiss, I can't be bothered buying it. And given that yours is gathering dust, that's an anti-recommendation, lol.
