How lame is the world?

Some bastard totally stole all the trinkets from my grandfather’s grave.

We’ve been building up a collection of random shinies, like a whole bird collection- because he went bird crazy in his last few months, lol- souvenirs from the zoo, from the airport giftshops… just little things to brighten up his grave and reflect his personality and our family’s abiding love for him and the way he’s still present in our thoughts and conversations. And someone goes and takes them all.

Some sick little juvenile delinquent, no doubt. Ugh.

That really sucks...why would someone ever do something like that. I doubt they will ever find him but that little punk bastard just got fistfuls of bad karma and its going to fall on him tenfold.

Dude, that is beyond awful! That's robbing the grave!! That person will pay for this somehow. Karma is not fictional. I am really sorry that you guys have to go through this.

Grave-robbers. Ugh. I'm sure it was just stupid kid who had nothing better to do than nick a few shinies. It's my grandmother I feel worse for. It's been a year since his death and she's only recently started visiting every few days instead of every day, and then someone pulls this stunt. I'm sure she's worrying now whether the next time we go, whether we'll find something else has happened.

p.s. how are you? you've been quiet lately.

I've become obsessed with three different shows at the same time. During exams. So it's been kinda hectic in my head, lol. I never get enough time on the internet, damn it. There's always things I want to read, people I need to talk to and I don't get to do it all. *sighs* Apart from exam angst and not knowing what I want in life, it's been okay. Hope you're doing good! *huggles*

You sure the groundskeeper didn't clear them away? They do that when a grave or memorial gets cluttered...

Lol, of all the graves there, Pa's is definitely the most cluttered. But all the flowers surrounding his little patch are still there, and the trinkets are inside that little circle and take up way less space, so it wouldn't make sense to take them and not the big bulky boxes of flowers. The jar of seashells and the nightlight are still there, it's just the things we bought that are gone.
