Since we added each other last September, and as I've grown more familiar with different aspects of your personality, you've come to mean many things to me.

My evil Cylon twin. :P

My co-member in more societies than I can recall right now.

Faithful partner in flaily fangirling across many fandoms.

Icon-maker extraordinaire. Fanfic writer par excellence. Beta of unparalleled patience and support.

My dear friend.

With my chronic lack of timing, I wish you a very happy [early] birthday. *huggles*

And to celebrate the occasion, the TLW vid at last!

Notes: Given the nature of the song, it's not an exclusively ship-centric vid. We take a look at other aspects of our beloved Marguerite. :P

D/L: here

WIth thanks to [personal profile] scifi_tv_addict for the last minute directions, lol.

*glomps*

I'm so glad you enjoyed the vid, because you are totally special beyond my ability to articulate and completely deserve it.

Awww, Ty, bb. I reserve the right to disagree with you on this, but thank you all the same *squishes* :P

So I thought I'd post it and then wait for you to notice. Subtlety? From moi? Whatever is the world coming to? :P

I honestly don't know, it's throwing me for a loop though. Even though I can kinda understand it, still. But next thing you know I'm going to go outside and find the sky turned green or something.

Heh, you'll never figure it out. Seriously, when- EVER- is TLW rational? I kinda want to spoil you right now but it'll be fun when you actually see it and then realize how utterly impossible it would've been to predict- THAT.

Would this be the part where she's a spy? I'd gotten some inklings of that between the German dude and the fics, and then that convo you and Sunkrux were having mentioned it as well... But it makes a lot of sense then, that she does have secrets and things to hide.

GLEEEEEEEE! ♥ In case you were wondering, that was the scene I wanted you to see in my vid first. Because it's just so random and ridiculously fun and so so cool!

Aha! I KNEW that had to be the scene you were talking about. Seriously what the heck? It's adorable and ridiculous and I'm cracking up now just thinking of it.

Wish I could've seen your face when you were watching that, lol.

I was somewhere between hysterical giggles and "O_o" because of the hat. The giggling won out, I was too giddy to stop it.

It's possibly my favorite scene EVER, not even kidding. It redeems an otherwise 'meh' episode. AND it makes up for the Momentus Interruptus in The Knife, lol.

Okay, which ep is that in? *tries to resist the temptation to skip directly there*

Yeah, Roxton and that hat are like, the secret OTP of the show. I'm jealous on Marguerite's behalf, you know. They're wallowing pretty much naked in a mud pool together and he still won't relinquish the damn hat!

Okay, totally silly point, but with Barbarians At the Gate, that's how you truly know something's wrong, because you see his hat tumbling dramatically into the water, and obviously since Roxton and both of his OTPs are separated, only bad things can possibly happen. Especially since Marguerite subsequently ends up looking at his hat with the sadface.

Omg! The hat is the harbinger of death! Or at least significant whumpage and/or doom.

♥ you

Bwahaha, nice to know I can still be a mystery to you at times. *g*

And lol, I hadn't realized that lacking subtlety was such a major part of my character that it could herald fantastical, improbable changes in the world around you. Green skies...and flying pigs, I assume?

Would this be the part where she's a spy? I'd gotten some inklings of that between the German dude and the fics, and then that convo you and Sunkrux were having mentioned it as well...

Nope. If it were about her past career as a spy, that WOULD be rational. :P

They do give a few tantalizing tidbits about her past, though, and I love Challenger and Roxton's expressions and reactions all throughout, but her being in uniform has nothing DIRECTLY to do with her past. You could say it's a different take on the possession!clothes of Stone Cold.

Actually, when I think about it, it's exactly like that, only the opposite- they're possessing the clothes. If that makes sense. :P

Aha! I KNEW that had to be the scene you were talking about. Seriously what the heck? It's adorable and ridiculous and I'm cracking up now just thinking of it.

IKR?! I cannot think of it without being all gleeful. I mean, we get denied skinny-dipping *criz* in another ep [wait til you see who interrupts them, lol] but THIS earns my forgiveness and my never-ending gratitude!

Okay, which ep is that in? *tries to resist the temptation to skip directly there*

IDK if I want to tell...you did want to watch in order, right? Oh, very well, it's The Elixir, a really boring Challenger-centric ep, only made enjoyable by our OTP being cute and couple-y. :D I love the 'wardrobe' they improvise as they race through the jungle, it's just so ridiculous and silly! Convenient palm fronds, LMFAO. *wipes away tears*

LOL. *glomps* That's PRICELESS, sweetie! Omg... *dies laughing* Seriously, that is just- wow.
*giggles quietly so as to avoid undue attention from sane people nearby*

Whose idea it was that the hat would become an extension of Roxton? Was it the writers' plan from the start or something Will started doing, I wonder? O.o

:D *squishes* If you weren't already taken, I'd snap you up in a heartbeat. ^_^

Erm, yes those too. Though it's totally not a bad thing, and let's face it- I, like most of my family, suck at subtlety.:P

You could say it's a different take on the possession!clothes of Stone Cold.

Not exactly, but I trust you. :P I have no idea how possessing clothes works, but I'll go with it. :P

It's totally not fair that they don't get to go skinny dipping. I mean, even Ned and V got to do that. In like, the first episode or something no less. I mean honestly, have they never heard that you shouldn't go skinny dipping with strange people you've only just met? Hm..

I love the 'wardrobe' they improvise as they race through the jungle, it's just so ridiculous and silly! Convenient palm fronds, LMFAO. *wipes away tears*

PALM FRONDS!? Oh my god. You know, as much as I already loved this show, I think I love it even more right now, if that's even possible. Strategically placed palm fronds are awesome. And the mental image that is being conjured up right now is kind of priceless, I can't wait for this episode. Though, I suppose I'll be good and do so.

*glomps* Now don't have a giggle fit in the middle of someplace public! It makes people look at you strangely, I've found XD

Somebody should submit a question and find out..

d'aww *squishes* ♥

I love being cryptic. I was trying to think of the most infuriatingly obscure and nonsensical way to explain Out of the Blue and possessing clothes...I have to laugh at myself for that one. Mwahaha. ^_^

I mean, even Ned and V got to do that. In like, the first episode or something no less.

HEY. I never thought of that. *frowns* No faiiir. Although their relationship got screwed up a million times, so I guess the N/V shippers needed something to cling to, right? Even if we didn't get the skinny-dipping, we got them having a mud bath/fight together!

PALM FRONDS!? Oh my god. And the mental image that is being conjured up right now is kind of priceless

That scene was in the vid! At about 1:54. They focus more on Marguerite, so we don't catch a good glimpse of Roxton's outfit, shame, that, but still! *twirls giddily* I love it, the one time where Marguerite's outfit is NOT more fashionable than her regular clothes.

Hang on a sec...she loses her clothes here...she loses them in The Outlaw...exactly how many khaki skirts/pants does the woman have?!

Strategically placed palm fronds are awesome.

No match for the STRATEGICALLY PLACED HAT. [4:00 into the vid] I so wanted to use a longer version of that scene but I had to be content with a two-second clip. I can't imagine the view Marguerite's getting from the side, lol.

You know, I've read about fans writing to the actors and getting replies! Sapphy actually made a post about it a while back, Rachel wrote back to her! *dies* I'd love to do the same but the thought's somewhat intimidating. If you ever get decide to do so, though, let me know and I'll piggyback your letter. :P

Also also? Just a random aside: Sapphy's going to the UK and I immediately thought of the Roxton estate- when I went to comment, Speckles had just posted the same thing, lol. It's so incredibly geeky, I love it. The first thing that comes to mind when talking about her trip overseas is how she MUST find the home of a fictional character, lol.

D'oh. You do love torturing me, apparently. :P

HEY. I never thought of that. *frowns* No faiiir. Although their relationship got screwed up a million times, so I guess the N/V shippers needed something to cling to, right?

I suppose so. But I really can't bring myself to be invested in N/V much, other than a background type "oh that's nice" bit.

That scene was in the vid! At about 1:54.
I remember, but I want to see allllll of it, the whole scene. Soon! *iz impatient*

On the matter of Marguerite losing her clothes though, I have two words for you: Zanga Mall. *nods* That explanation makes perfect sense to me.

And also, the strategically placed hat part was the other clip I wanted to see the rest of. It's kind of brilliantly hilarious and awesome.

I think I remember seeing that post, was it at the Rachel Blakely comm? Anywho, I totally might do that. And since I have my own post office box finally, I can do it without hassle from my folks *glees* I'm gonna watch the rest of the series, and then we so should. While I rewatch!

Oh, that's perfect! I was in Trader Joe's yesterday and I saw a package of cookies called fairy circles with a picture of the stone ring on them and immediately thought of TLW. (I read a couple more fics, can you tell? *g*)

*looks guilty* Um...well, mainly because I wish I'd had someone to do this with me when I was first going through it, so I'm overcompensating with you. :P It's all in good fun.

I want to see allllll of it, the whole scene. Soon! *iz impatient*

It's the eighteenth episode, so chillax, bb. If you race through it now, you'll regret it when it's over!

THE ZANGA MALL. *keels over* That's been in quite a few fics. Heh. But they don't manufacture 'proper' clothing like Marguerite's, their style runs to artistic draping of cloth around the chest and hip area. I kinda want Marguerite to raid Assai's wardrobe one of these days...PHOTOSHOP! :P

Yar, 'twas at the comm. Hee, you actually went and looked for her? That's cool! But ooh, we haz a new plan! Establish communication with Rachel Blakely. *shivers with anticipation* I'm letting you do all the hard work. ^_^ The main reason I didn't do anything is because I didn't want to have to email her agency, because me=/=talking to [non-fandom] people. Old phobias die hard.

I have my own post office box finally

Talk about independence! That's so cool! When I get things from overseas, I have to make sure I either pick them up before my parents get home to avoid unwelcome questions or if they find out, make up something about an old school friend who's moved overseas. *eyeroll*

I saw a package of cookies called fairy circles with a picture of the stone ring on them and immediately thought of TLW.

*squishes* It takes over your life! FOR SRS! *laughs giddily*

Though...IDK, if I saw a stone ring, I'd probably think of Stargate first. :P

My cousins got me a little snowglobe thingy with an Egyptian theme as a knick-knack for my birthday and it made me laugh so much. It's not the kind of thing I'd care for, ordinarily, but the Stargate association makes all the difference.

*snorts* The conversation gets more insane by the moment... (http://sapphs.livejournal.com/280484.html?thread=4610980#t4610980)
