Because I'm too cheap to buy magazines, I borrow them from the library. Yes, it's inconvenient having to wait in queue but on the bright side, that's over $200 I save a year, so. *shrugs* This was last month's issue, but the pretty people were pretty, so I went a-scanning.

Tasmanian born! *squees* I may not be patriotic about sports- couldn't care less who wins the footy or cricket or whatever- but the fact that this dude is from my place of birth? *feels smug for no good reason*

Also...I love the double-standards. All the women in this issue are presented with immaculate images...it's the guys who are soaking wet! Lol.

I fall more in love with her the more I read. It's so awesome that when she was a school girl, she was crushing hardcore on Leonardo Dicaprio, and then she grows up, stars in this phenomenally successful film and she's at the Oscars where, lo and behold, her childhood crush comes up to her to tell her how much he admires her! ZOMG. Dream moment, much?!

laurandbillever and I were talking about how there should be a show based on the lives of these soapie stars as they go about filming because there is so much drama in their real lives. Blake [Serena] and Penn [Dan] are dating in real life, as are Ed [Chuck] and Jessica [Vanessa]. Must be interesting when their characters are feuding with each other and breaking up all the time...

Another wet guy! *g* Who orchestrated this shoot?! I don't really know much about him, other than he's appearing in the new Terminator movie, so yay! I'm looking forward to that, although I wish wish WISH that Cameron [Summer Glau] was in it. *pouts* The movie would be automatically ten times cooler. *nodnod*

Yay for Lenka being recognized! I'm totally in love with her music and it's great that she's becoming more famous.

It's a little ironic that I used to *facepalm* look down on Australians because I always thought anything they could do, Americans could do better...*runs to avoid a lynching* You cannot compare City Homicide or Underbelly to Criminal Minds or The Mentalist, come on, be honest, the overseas shows are vastly superior and I never understand all the vitriolic anti-American letters in the paper, I wonder at the lunatics who believe we'd be better off without American shows! :O

And now, fate has the last laugh. My favorite singer and actress are Australian. *shakes head* I can admit when I was wrong, I'm on my knees begging forgiveness at my prejudices...

Twilight for the lulz. As much as I hate the books/movie, the actors make me crack up laughing. I have to quote this because it is too hilarious, really:

You work fast, though, I took a month or two before I gave in and started icon-hunting. Still, once I did, I started collecting with a vengeance. I wish I could pay for more userpic space, but I'm at my max. *sads*

They only get better. *nodnod* It's incredible, I think this show has become as awesome as it can be and then it outdoes itself. :D

I've watched the 10th episode of The Mentalist last night and liked it. It gets even better? Great! It's good to have a show that can replace BSG ;)

I've been really busy the past few days, I'm replying to my comments and hopefully get time to backtrack through all the posts I missed out on. That's pretty sweet, though, fandom collision FTW! I hope someone posts a link to a clip, it'd be too cool to see them!

Indeed it does! I liked it from the start but it was the 10th ep that made me an obsessive addict, lol, and there is so much more squee to be had. :D I love that everyone's trying to find new shows to deal with BSG ending, that's quite a hole to fill.
